Wardwell Games’ Steam listing advertises random encounters and turn-based combat, alongside more than 80 skills, hidden areas, and over 12 hours of story and gameplay. Those figures are publisher-provided claims, not independently measured playtime or a review assessment. The listing also credits the soundtrack to the Weesner Brothers.

The classic-JRPG comparison is a useful genre shorthand, but the available store description does not identify specific Final Fantasy games as direct influences. Expect the broad conventions named by the listing—party-based adventure, random battles, and turn-based combat—rather than a confirmed one-to-one comparison.

Is Ghostforged worth trying?
The demo makes Ghostforged straightforward to sample if you want a story-led, turn-based JRPG and your PC meets the listed minimums. Try it first if you are unsure whether its combat or tone suits you; the current store page does not say how much of the full game the demo includes. A purchase decision should be based on the demo and the live Steam listing, not on the publisher’s advertised playtime as though it were an independent measurement.
