If it still will not open, check Microsoft Store and follow Microsoft’s general Store-app repair and reinstall steps. Those steps are not a guarantee that Get Help will appear in the Store on every Windows device.
First, check whether Get Help is installed
- Search Start: Select Start, type Get Help, and open the result if it appears.
- Try Settings: Open the Settings home page and select the Get Help link.
- Try the troubleshooter route: Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and look for Get Help.
Microsoft documents these ways to open Get Help. If none works, continue with Store checks. Get Help provides support resources and troubleshooters; the troubleshooters available can vary. See Microsoft’s About Get Help and Running troubleshooters in Get Help.

Check whether Microsoft Store is available
Search Start for Microsoft Store and try to open it. If Store does not appear, that does not by itself identify the cause. Microsoft notes that Store availability can be affected by account state, including using a local account, or by an administrator disabling it on a work device. See Can’t find Microsoft Store app.

Use Microsoft’s general Store-app repair and reinstall steps
Microsoft recommends general troubleshooting for apps from Microsoft Store. The guidance includes closing and reopening the app, checking for Windows updates, updating Store, and trying the app’s repair or reset options. It also describes reinstalling Store apps from the Store Library; in its Windows 10 instructions, the library is called My Library. These are general Store-app steps, not a Get Help-specific reinstall procedure, and Get Help may not be listed for every Windows edition or device configuration. If Store cannot find or install Get Help
Microsoft’s Store guidance lists several possible reasons an app may not appear or install: regional availability, family settings, the app no longer being available in Store, device compatibility, a pending restart after Windows updates, or device authorization. These are possibilities to check, not a diagnosis of what happened on your device.

For Store search or installation problems, Microsoft also documents resetting Store by running wsreset.exe. Open Start, type wsreset.exe, and run the result; then try searching again. See I can’t find or install an app from Microsoft Store.
What to do if the app remains unavailable
- Use Microsoft’s support pages in a browser or contact Microsoft Support for help with your Windows issue.
- On a managed work or school device, ask IT to check Store and app-installation policies.
- Avoid unofficial download sites and unverified package-removal or re-registration commands. The Microsoft guidance cited here does not establish a universal Get Help-specific reinstall command.
