General Cherry’s Sweetheart is a planned fixed-wing UAV for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR). As of a 5 October 2026 report by Janes, the Ukrainian manufacturer said the aircraft was still being coded; the report did not confirm that it had been unveiled, entered production or received export approval.
What is the Sweetheart UAV?
Janes describes Sweetheart as a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle intended for ISR missions. The report does not provide its dimensions, flight endurance, operating range, payload, sensors or price, so its capabilities cannot be assessed from the information available.

What does “at coding stage” mean?
General Cherry said the aircraft was in the process of being coded. That describes a development stage; it is not evidence that coding is complete, or that the UAV is ready for production, deployment or sale. Janes reported that completing the coding was a condition for the possibility of exports, not confirmation that exports had started.

When is Sweetheart expected to be unveiled?
General Cherry had previously said it planned to unveil Sweetheart in the fourth quarter of 2026. Janes’ 5 October report presents this as a company plan, not confirmation that the unveiling took place. The date and current development stage may have changed since that report.

Could General Cherry export it?
Oleksandr Soloshchenko, an adviser to the company’s CEO, told Janes: “If there is demand and if we get the approval, we will be able to distribute it.” The report does not name the approval authority, identify potential export destinations or say that an approval has been granted.
How does Sweetheart differ from General Cherry’s other UAVs?
Janes distinguishes Sweetheart’s reported ISR role from several other systems associated with the company. Their mention does not establish that they are available for retail purchase.
