Gas Optimization Audit: What Can Be Verified About Sentora Curator

Sentora’s sources describe vault curation and risk controls, but do not establish a specific contract, gas benchmark, or optimization result.

No Sentora Curator gas-optimization result can be verified from the available public evidence: there is no identified contract, reproducible transaction trace, benchmark, or measured saving. What can be described is the curator’s role in vault allocation and the controls an implementation-specific audit should examine.

What Sentora’s curator does

Sentora Research’s July 21, 2026 explainer describes a vault layer above lending markets. A curator sets parameters that govern how vault deposits flow into those markets; the explainer identifies collateral selection and maximum loan-to-value ratios as central choices, alongside caps and other market settings. Sentora says the curator does not custody funds or move them at will; rather, the contract enforces the configured parameters. This explains the role an audit might investigate, but does not establish how a particular deployment implements it. Sentora Research’s explainer

Sentora’s risk-curation page presents curation as an ongoing process: strategy and protocol selection, asset and collateral selection, exposure and allocation limits, monitoring, and automatic rebalancing or risk reduction when conditions change. For gas analysis, that distinction matters: an initial configuration call and repeated operational actions can have different costs and frequencies. The page does not publish transaction costs or implementation details. Sentora’s risk-curation overview

What the available evidence does—and does not—establish

The public material supports a description of Sentora’s stated role and risk-curation process, not a code-level gas audit. No verified Sentora Curator address, chain target, source revision, compiler configuration, representative transaction traces, or measured gas figures are identified. Consequently, no particular inefficient code path, optimization, or amount of gas saved can be responsibly reported.

PT520A Natural Gas Detector, Gas Leak Detector with 17-Inch Gooseneck, Locating The Source Like Propane, Methane, and Butane for Home and RV (Includes Battery x3) - Orange
  • Effective Gas Leak Detector: The TOPTES PT520A natural gas detector detects leaks of methane, propane, natural gas, LPG, butane, and more in tight spaces
  • Flexible Probe: The 17-inch gooseneck allows easy access to hard-to-reach areas like pipelines, storage tanks, gas fireplaces, and basements, ideal for both indoor and outdoor leak detection. During use, point the probe toward the suspected leak source and move as close as 1–5 cm
  • Visual and Audible Alarm: PT520A responds in 0.5 seconds, with 7 colored bars and a 75dB alarm that increase with gas concentration. Detection range: 50-10,000 ppm (Methane)
  • User-Friendly Functions: Enable or disable Auto Power-Off with the APO button to save power after 10 minutes of inactivity. The Mute button silences the alarm, and the non-slip, wear-resistant design ensures a secure, comfortable grip for easy handling
  • What You Get: 1×PT520A Gas Leak Detector, 3×AAA Batteries, 1×Protective Case, and 1×User Manual. Allow 30 seconds of warm-up in clean air before starting detection

A September 28, 2026 Aave governance proposal describes a framework for Sentora to operate externally curated Aave V4 hub-and-spoke instances, including an initial Ethereum instance. Under the proposal, Aave DAO would retain smart-contract and admin ownership while granting Sentora revocable operational roles. The proposal describes immediate risk-reducing actions, a 48-hour timelock for risk-increasing updates, and a two-week optimistic governance process for new hubs or collateral markets. These are proposal terms; the proposal does not by itself confirm that the framework or first instance has been deployed. Aave governance proposal

How a real gas audit should be scoped

Before testing, identify the exact implementation and the transactions that matter. A curator workflow may include parameter updates and recurring market operations, but the available sources do not identify which calls exist in a specific deployment or how often they occur.

PT199 Natural Gas Leak Detector with Audible & Visual Alarm, Portable Gas Sniffer to Locate Combustible Sources Like Methane, Propane for Home(Includes Battery x2)-Orange
  • Combustible Gas Leak Detector: The TopTes PT199 detects natural gas, methane, propane, butane, LPG, and more, pinpointing leaks to reduce the risk of explosion, keeping your family and property safe
  • Visual and Audio Gas Alarm: Visual and audio alarms trigger within 0.5 seconds of gas detection. The alarm intensifies with gas concentration, and the LCD screen turns red when gas levels are high
  • Batteries Included and Easy to Use: The TopTes PT199 includes 2x AAA batteries and is ready after a 30-second warm-up. The low battery indicator activates below 2.4V, and it auto-powers off after 5 minutes without operation or gas detection
  • Compact Design: Pocket-sized, non-slip, and easy to carry or store in the included bag. Ideal for RV owners, DIYers, and homeowners with gas appliances. Saves you from paying hundreds of dollars in diagnostics or wasting gas in an undetected leak
  • What You Get: 1x PT199 Gas Leak Detector, 1x Storage Bag, 2x AAA Batteries, 1x User Manual. Detection range: 50-1,000 ppm (based on methane). Detection distance: 1-5cm
  • Target: record the chain, verified contract address, source revision, and deployment context.
  • Build: document the compiler version, optimizer settings, and other relevant build configuration so another reviewer can reproduce the bytecode.
  • Workload: select representative inputs and transaction paths, distinguishing configuration changes from recurring operations and risk-reduction actions.
  • Baseline: capture reproducible gas measurements for each selected call before changing the implementation.
  • Candidate changes: compare alternatives against measured cost per call, call frequency, behavioral equivalence, added bytecode or storage costs, and operational or security trade-offs.
  • Validation: rerun measurements under the same conditions and check that the change preserves intended behavior and access controls.

These are audit requirements and comparison criteria, not findings about Sentora code. The GASOL paper provides general methodological context for analyzing and optimizing selected EVM instruction costs; it contains no Sentora-specific measurements. GASOL paper

What a defensible result would report

A published optimization claim should identify the code and build being measured, explain the representative calls and inputs, and show baseline and revised gas results under comparable conditions. It should also state whether the measured path is frequently used, preserve relevant security and behavioral checks, and account for trade-offs such as larger bytecode or storage costs. Without those artifacts, a numerical saving or implementation-specific recommendation would be speculation.
