Why Warhammer Survivors is the bridge from Vampire Survivors
Warhammer Survivors is an upcoming standalone survivors-style roguelite set in both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Its announced loop has players choose a hero, fight swarms, level up, evolve weapons and grow stronger across repeat runs. The announcement names Tyranids and Skaven among the enemies.
Warhammer Community announced more than 40 playable characters and more than 70 weapons. Those are publisher-announced figures, not independently tested totals. The game is being made by Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, in partnership with poncle, the developers of Vampire Survivors. The original collaboration announcement also describes unlockable characters, upgrades, weapon combinations and secrets.
The announced launch date is November 10, 2026. Warhammer Community says a demo will be available that day on Steam and Xbox for PC. Listed platforms are PC (Steam and GOG), Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and iOS and Android.
