No. The available report does not confirm a “Privacy Display v2” for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and it does not verify three improvements for the phone. A Samsung Display representative clarified that the partial-privacy modes demonstrated at MWC26 can be achieved with the company’s current Flex Magic Pixel (FMP) technology—not a new-generation or “version 2” implementation.
What Samsung Display clarified about the MWC26 demonstration
In an update to its March 4, 2026 report, published October 5, Notebookcheck attributed this clarification to an unnamed representative from Samsung Display’s global communications team:

“We would like to first explain that no new hardware is required to enable the various Partial Privacy display modes demonstrated with Flex Magic Pixel at the Samsung Display booth at MWC26. These capabilities are already achievable with the current FMP technology (and therefore not ‘next-generation’ or ‘version 2’ of the FMP technology).”

The statement is about the modes shown at Samsung Display’s booth, not a confirmed Galaxy S27 Ultra specification. Notebookcheck also reported that Samsung had not confirmed or hinted at privacy-display improvements for the S27.

What the reported modes showed—and what they do not prove
The original account described demonstrations on prototypes that Android Authority considered similar in appearance to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. In the demonstrations, a selected portion of the screen appeared hidden from view while the rest remained visible. One example obscured about half the screen; another obscured somewhat less than one third.
Those proportions describe what viewers saw in a demonstration. They are not published performance measurements or promised settings for a shipping phone. The report also described full-screen privacy and hiding sensitive information such as passwords and notifications in the context of the demonstrated functionality. None of that establishes which features, if any, will appear on the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Are there three confirmed Galaxy S27 Ultra improvements?
No. The cited report does not identify or verify three improvements for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Treating the demonstration’s partial-screen examples—or its descriptions of full-screen privacy and sensitive-item hiding—as three S27 upgrades would turn reported demo capabilities into unannounced phone specifications.
