Set up call forwarding on a Galaxy S10
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap More (the three-dot menu), then Settings.
- Tap Supplementary Services.
- If prompted, select the SIM you want to configure.
- Tap Call forwarding, then Voice Calls.
- Choose a forwarding condition, enter or select the destination number, and enable it.
Samsung’s support instructions describe this route and note that labels or steps can differ by model and software version. If you use two SIMs, make sure you select the line whose calls you intend to forward. Samsung’s call-forwarding instructions were last updated June 10, 2024.

Choose when calls should forward
Samsung lists four common voice-call conditions. Choose based on whether the phone should ring first and what should happen when you cannot take the call.

|---|---|
| Always forward | All incoming calls go to the chosen number. |
| Forward when busy | Calls forward when the line is busy. |
| Forward when unanswered | Calls forward if you do not answer. |
| Forward when unreachable | Calls forward when the phone cannot be reached, such as when it has no network coverage. |
These are carrier-supported voice services. The setting on the phone is a way to configure them; it does not guarantee that a carrier, plan, or network supports every condition.

Turn off a forwarding condition
Return to Phone → More → Settings → Supplementary Services → Call forwarding → Voice Calls, select the condition you want to stop, and choose Disable. If multiple conditions are active, check and disable each one you no longer want.

- Check the SIM: On a dual-SIM S10, open the settings for the intended SIM rather than the other line.
- Check the condition and destination: Confirm that you are changing the right trigger (such as unanswered rather than always) and that the destination number is correct. Review the status shown by the phone.
- Contact your carrier if the option is absent or rejected: Call forwarding is a network service, and the carrier can confirm support or troubleshoot provisioning. O2 has a Galaxy S10 support page covering call forwarding and call-reception issues.
- Ask about charges and voicemail: Fees and how forwarding interacts with voicemail depend on the carrier, plan, and region. For example, the Japanese au manual for the SCV42 Galaxy S10+ says the subscriber may pay for the forwarded call leg; that local detail does not establish charges elsewhere. See au’s SCV42 guidance.
A 2019 Google Voice Help Community post describes one T-Mobile S10 user who sometimes needed conditional-forwarding changes made server-side. That is an individual report, not an official carrier policy or a guarantee that the same fix applies to other customers. Read the community post.
