Which phone has the better display?
The M36 has the higher listed resolution: 1080 × 2340, compared with 720 × 1570 on the N6. Both are listed at a 120Hz refresh rate, while the comparison identifies the M36’s panel as Super AMOLED and the N6’s as LCD. On specifications alone, the M36 offers substantially more pixels and the AMOLED panel type; that does not establish how the two screens compare in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.

Which has the better camera setup?
The M36 has three listed rear-camera modules: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. OnePlus’s launch page identifies an AI-enhanced 50MP main camera for the N6. That makes the M36’s rear setup more versatile on paper, particularly because it includes an ultrawide module. Camera count and megapixel figures alone do not prove which phone takes better photos; the available information does not provide a controlled camera comparison.

Battery capacity and charging: the N6 has the larger numbers
Samsung specifies the M36 battery as 5000 mAh typical and 4905 mAh rated or minimum. OnePlus gives the N6 as 8000 mAh typical and 7780 mAh rated. These figures use each manufacturer’s stated typical and rated capacities; they should not be treated as guaranteed runtime. Samsung says actual battery life varies with factors such as network, features, apps, calls and charging patterns.
The comparison page lists 25W charging for the M36, while OnePlus specifies 45W SuperVOOC for the N6. OnePlus’s launch materials qualify its battery-life and charging-duration claims as based on OnePlus Test Lab results, with outcomes varying according to network, apps, usage habits, device age and other conditions. The wattage difference is a specification comparison, not a promise that the N6 will always charge a particular amount faster in everyday use.

Software support: what is established
Samsung’s product information states that M36 security updates run through December 31, 2031, and its site hosts Android 15 and Android 16 manual downloads. OnePlus’s N6 launch page names OxygenOS 16 but does not state a comparable support end date. The available information is therefore insufficient to compare the phones’ total update duration; the absence of a date on that page should not be read as proof that the N6 receives no further updates.
