Warm during charging or overheating?
Some warmth in Galaxy Buds or their case during charging can occur. Samsung says charging may stop if a battery becomes hotter than usual; disconnect the charger and let the device cool. Check the charging setup before charging again
- Do not charge with a damaged cable.
- If sweat or liquid is on the Buds’ charging contacts, clean and dry the contacts before charging. Moisture on the terminals can cause corrosion.
- If the Buds became unusually hot while charging, leave them disconnected as they cool; do not use them while they remain hot.

When to contact Samsung
Contact Samsung if a Bud is still too warm to touch after it has had time to cool. The support guidance establishes when to stop using the earbuds and seek help; it does not identify the cause of heat in a particular pair or establish that replacement is necessary. Avoid wearing or charging the Buds while they remain hot.
