For a quick phone-screen placement, start with a transparent PNG or official device bezel; for a custom angle or background, choose an editable Figma or PSD scene; and for a finished image without editing a layered file, use a browser mockup generator. Free access does not automatically include commercial rights, and the sources below offer different formats, phone models, and license terms.

Apple Design Resources lists product bezels in Photoshop and PNG, including iPhone 18, iPhone 17, iPhone 16, and iPhone Duo. It also lists bezels for other Apple devices. This is a useful starting point when you want an official device rendering rather than a community-made interpretation. Apple Developer advises: “When using product bezels in your marketing materials, be sure to review these Marketing Resources and Identity Guidelines.” Follow that guidance for marketing use; having access to an asset is not the same as permission to use it in every context.

Asylab’s free-assets catalog describes its PSD and Figma assets as available for personal and commercial use. Its listed items include Free iPhone 18 Pro Mockups (dated September 22, 2026), Free Google Pixel 11 Mockups (September 8, 2026), and an iPhone 17 Pro in-hand mockup (May 19, 2026), alongside other generations and scene styles. Check the terms attached to the particular asset you download; a catalog-level description is not a substitute for its individual license.
Wannathis: free scenes with personal-use terms
Wannathis’s free mockup catalog lists iPhone Duo, iPhone 15, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro scenes. Its FAQ says the free files may be supplied as Figma and PSD or as PSD only, depending on the scene. It requires a free account to download and limits free mockups to personal use. The provider says Pro Access includes commercial licensing across its library; check its current terms if you need a client or commercial-use license.

These are the provider’s stated export terms, not independently tested performance. The page says high-resolution export is not supported in Safari or on mobile.
How to pick the right free phone mockup
- Match the depicted device to the claim. If the mockup is meant to represent a current phone, verify the model and screen proportions. Older models and generic handset silhouettes can still work for concept art, but should not be presented as a newer device.
- Choose the file you can actually use. A PNG or bezel is suited to quick placement; Figma and PSD scenes can support further editing; a generator renders a composition in the browser. Confirm whether the specific file’s screen is editable or already flattened.
- Read the license for your use case. Personal work, client deliverables, and public marketing are not automatically covered by the same terms. In particular, Wannathis describes its free mockups as personal-use only, while Asylab’s catalog describes personal and commercial use; verify the terms for the exact asset.
- Check practical requirements before committing. Look for account or login requirements, compatible software, attribution rules, output dimensions, and any export limits. Wannathis requires a free account, and its formats vary by scene; Mockit distinguishes standard exports from credit-based HD and video output.
