Confirm the canvas model and image dimensions
Fraimic’s Standard Canvas uses a 13.3-inch Spectra 6 E-Ink display inside a 14 × 18-inch frame. Its listed resolution is 1,200 × 1,600 pixels in a 3:4 aspect ratio. Those specifications come from the Standard Canvas product page; do not apply them to the Large Canvas, which has different dimensions and display specifications.

Before preparing artwork, match the project’s physical footprint and aspect ratio to the exact model. Fraimic says its upload workflow automatically calibrates, crops, and orients images. That can simplify setup, but it means the displayed result may not match the uncropped source exactly.

Set up the dashboard and image workflow
Fraimic’s web dashboard is the control point for uploading images, managing albums for scheduled updates, changing account settings, checking battery status, accessing styles, and revisiting previous images. The Online User Manual says dashboard access does not require installing an app.

- Sign in to the dashboard and confirm you can access the account settings and battery status.
- Upload a representative project image in its intended orientation. Inspect how it looks on the specific canvas, including any crop or orientation change.
- If the project needs recurring changes, create or review the relevant album and schedule before relying on it.
- Use the upload history or previous images area to check that the expected content is available for reuse.
Choose styles and decide whether AI generation is needed
In Account Settings, select the intended frame and Fraimic Style if the project uses styles. The manual says choosing None avoids applying a style to voice-to-vision creations.
Uploading and managing your own images are distinct from optional AI image generation. Fraimic’s Standard Canvas product page lists 100 AI creation credits that replenish yearly and says additional credits can be purchased. Check the current account terms and available credits if a project depends on voice-to-vision or another generation workflow; do not assume that ordinary uploads require AI credits.

Check connectivity and privacy requirements
Fraimic describes direct image sharing over home Wi-Fi without an internet connection on its product page. That local-sharing option may suit a project where internet access is unavailable, while the account-based dashboard is useful for web-based management. Test the path you intend to use on the project’s actual network.
A claim of local sharing does not by itself establish broader privacy, security, or data-retention guarantees. If those are project requirements, review Fraimic’s current terms and verify that the selected workflow meets them before uploading sensitive material.

Plan refreshes, power, and supported content
Fraimic’s FAQ says its E-Ink display uses power when changing an image and none during static display. The same FAQ says the Standard 14 × 18-inch unit can generally last at least three years per charge, depending on refresh frequency. That is a vendor estimate, not an independent performance test, so a project with frequent image changes should not assume a fixed runtime.
The FAQ describes image refresh as taking seconds and says GIFs and other animated formats are unsupported because of E-Ink refresh limitations. Treat the canvas as a static art display, not an animation or rapid-update screen. Set an album schedule that matches the project’s actual need rather than refreshing more often than necessary.

Check installation and coverage for your location
The manual specifies indoor use only and lists drywall mounting hardware and a USB-C cable in the box. It also states a one-year warranty for manufacturing defects. Confirm the package contents and warranty terms for the exact model and region before installation, especially if the project location or mounting surface differs from the listed setup.
