Has the Forza Horizon 6 PS5 release date been announced?
No. PlayStation’s current game listing says “Release date: TBA,” and Playground Games has not given an exact day in its latest reviewed update. The developer’s stated window is later in 2026. Check the PlayStation listing for the current date status, or add the game to your wishlist there.

Playground Games first announced a PS5 version as a post-launch release when it revealed the game in September 2025. Why are May 15 and May 19 mentioned?
Those dates are for the Xbox Series X|S and PC launch, not the PS5 version. Playground Games announced May 19, 2026 as the Xbox and PC release date, with Premium Edition early access beginning May 15. Neither date establishes when the PS5 version will arrive. What is known about the PS5 game?
Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan. Playground Games’ announcement and an Xbox Wire interview with design director Torben Ellert describe the setting and game; Xbox Wire reports approximately 550 cars at launch as a developer-reported content figure. How to follow the PS5 release date
- Open PlayStation’s PS5 games listing and find Forza Horizon 6.
- Use the available wishlist action to keep the game on your PlayStation account.
- Check the listing or Playground Games’ official updates for a date announcement. Until one is posted, do not treat a rumored month or an Xbox/PC date as the PS5 launch date.
The reviewed official sources do not confirm a physical PS5 edition or retail preorder.
