The 99 L compartment can be set to Chill, Fridge, Soft Freeze or Freezer. That lets you change how much space is devoted to chilled or frozen food as household needs shift. It is useful flexibility only if you expect to adjust the compartment or have a recurring need for one of those modes; otherwise, you are buying a feature that may not affect daily use.

Fisher & Paykel says its variable-temperature zones offer control over food care. That is the manufacturer’s stated rationale, not independent evidence that food lasts longer in this model. The product page lists the modes and describes the feature.
Will it fit your kitchen?
The Australian guide lists the cabinet dimensions as 905 mm wide, 1790 mm high and 688 mm deep. It specifies minimum clearances of 30 mm at the rear and 20 mm at each side and above. Allow for those gaps in the available space, then check the installation guide for any further requirements. Measure the full delivery route—including doorways and turns—and check cabinetry and door movement before ordering. The Australian guide has the model’s dimensions and clearance figures.

The same 2025 Australian guide gives the fridge a 4-star energy rating and estimated consumption of 396 kWh per year. These are Australia-specific published figures, not a universal rating; use the energy label for the model sold in your region when comparing appliances.
What are the water and ice requirements?

A replaceable filter is an ongoing ownership item. Check the manufacturer’s current replacement guidance and local filter availability when working out the cost and maintenance involved.
