In Chapter 5, take the circle-marked doorway in the four-door room to reach the first-symbol reflector trial. Climb the rocks beside its blocked entrance, use the rope to get above it, then redirect the colored beams to their matching targets. The spike-tile route belongs to a different symbol branch.
Reach the circle-door chamber
- Find the four-door room. Choose the doorway marked with a circle; this is the reflector puzzle route.
- Go over the blocked entrance. The doorway is obstructed at ground level. Climb the rocks beside it, use the rope to reach the top, and drop into the chamber.
- Activate the puzzle. Insert the sphere into the socket to turn on the colored beams and reveal the reflectors.
Route each beam to its matching target
Use a beam to clear the petrified dust around the central platform. The dust conceals three targets, one for each beam color. Adjust the reflectors so every beam reaches the target of the same color.

Green beam
Direct the green beam to the reflector across the chamber, then angle it onto the green target.

Blue beam
Clear the dust covering the hidden mirrors, route the blue beam through them, and use the nearby reflector to direct it to the blue target. This is the longer route.

Red beam
Aim the red beam at the mirror on the right, then redirect it to the red target.
Claim the symbol and return to the hall
- Once all three beams hit their matching targets, return to the central pillar.
- Insert the sphere into the newly available socket. The insect-like first symbol is revealed and recorded in Sophia’s book.
- Go back to the entrance hall and enter the recorded symbol at the pedestal corresponding to the circle-marked doorway.
Why some guides show a spike-tile route
Chapter 5 has multiple symbol trials, and they do not have to be completed in a fixed order. The circle-marked door leads to this reflector chamber. A separate square- or dice-like doorway leads to the spike-tile branch, whose sequence is Dots → Squid/Kraken → Dots → Flower → Squid/Kraken. That sequence is not part of the circle-door puzzle.
