The best Amp in EA SPORTS FC 27 depends on the Archetype you are using and what you want to improve. Compare its attributes, PlayStyle or perk, Archetype Affinity, and remaining match uses; a matching Affinity adds its stated bonus, but an Amp can still provide its standard effects without a match. Amps are temporary items for Archetypes in The Grounds, not Ultimate Team player items.
What makes an Amp the best choice?
EA does not identify one universally best Amp. The right pick is the one whose effects support your active Archetype and current build goal. Check the item panel rather than choosing by tier or theme alone: effects vary, and a higher-tier item does not necessarily include every possible benefit.

- Attribute boosts: Look for improvements to attributes that matter to your role and build.
- PlayStyle or perk: Some Amps add one of these effects; inspect the exact item to see what it provides.
- Archetype Affinity: A matching Affinity grants the item’s stated extra bonus. A nonmatching Archetype can still receive the Amp’s standard benefits.
- Remaining match uses: Consider how many eligible matches remain before the Amp expires.
- Attribute cap: EA says an Amp cannot raise an attribute beyond its maximum. A boost that exceeds the cap may be partly ineffective while still using up match duration.
EA describes four Amp tiers. Tiers 1 and 2 provide attribute boosts. Tiers 3 and 4 are Signature Amps and may combine two attribute boosts with a PlayStyle or PlayStyle+, a perk, or Archetype Affinity; not every Signature Amp has every feature. EA’s launch update said Amps would not provide PlayStyle+ at launch, while the current help description allows for that effect in its tier overview. For a specific live item, rely on its current item panel. See EA’s Amp mechanics and item guidance.

How to compare and equip Amps
- Open Archetypes and select the Amps tab.
- Choose an open slot and inspect each candidate’s tier, attributes, PlayStyle or perk, Affinity, duration, and current availability details.
- Compare the effects with your intended build. Favor a matching Affinity when its extra bonus is useful, and avoid spending duration on boosts that would mostly exceed an attribute cap.
- Equip the Amp to the active Archetype you plan to use. EA lists one Signature Amp slot and two Standard Amp slots.
Use the Store listing and item panel to verify the current price, purchase limit, duration, and expiration before spending currency. A recommendation can change as inventory refreshes or a limited-time offer expires.

Where to get Amps in FC 27
EA lists the following possible sources. Availability can vary, and expired Store Amps cannot be purchased.
- Store: Check the live listing for the item’s price, limits, effects, and expiry.
- Objectives: Some Objectives offer Amps as rewards.
- Live Game Modes: Amps may appear through these modes.
- Featured Bundles: Check what is included and whether the offer is still active before buying.
EA’s launch update says Amps refresh regularly and that themed Live Events may offer them. It also describes player-themed Signature Amps inspired by football stars. These are design and availability notes, not a guarantee that a particular Amp is currently obtainable. EA’s FC 27 Launch Update provides launch context; the live Store and item panel are the practical checks for current offers.

An Amp’s duration is based on eligible match uses. Finishing an eligible match consumes one use, and intentionally disconnecting also consumes one. You can unequip an Amp before it runs out; it returns to inventory with its remaining uses so you can equip it again later. Amps are disabled in some activities, including Kickabouts, and a Kickabout does not consume a use. Check EA’s current Amp rules for details.
