Warzone close range: prioritize aggressive engagements
Use the close-range configuration when you expect to push rooms, challenge nearby opponents or flank. Its five attachments are the setup CODMunity associates with the strongest quoted VMP TTK band in its list: 0–10 m. The same source reports a slower 10–40 m figure, so do not read the 551 ms estimate as applying at every distance.

Warzone sniper support: choose the separate mid-range setup
The sniper-support build swaps to a suppressor, longer barrel, handstop, capacity magazine and FMJ ammunition. CODMunity reports 687 ms at 10–40 m for it, compared with 718 ms for its close-range build in that distance band. These are that site’s estimates, and the figures alone do not establish how either setup performs in every situation.
Black Ops 7 multiplayer: use the listed versatile setup
For multiplayer, the shared recommendation from CODMunity and Warzone Loadout Games is a different five-attachment combination, including the Quickstep Foregrip and MFS Tactical Command Grip. Warzone Loadout Games placed the VMP first in its own multiplayer ranking; that placement is a guide’s assessment, not a game-wide or official ranking.

What the VMP’s official specs tell you
Activision identifies the VMP as a full-auto SMG in its Season 6 announcement. It has a 40-round base magazine and 35 weapon levels. Its Gunsmith options cover optics, muzzle, barrel, underbarrel, magazine, rear grip, stock, laser and fire mods. Activision lists the weapon unlock at Battle Pass Page 3 HVT and a blueprint at Page 15 HVT.

How to compare the builds in practice
- Match the mode: A Warzone build and a Black Ops 7 multiplayer build are not interchangeable recommendations by default.
- Consider engagement distance: CODMunity reports separate TTK bands, and the close-range build’s 0–10 m figure is not its 10–40 m figure.
- Balance handling and control: Barrel, grip and underbarrel choices differ across the builds. Choose the setup that suits your preferred movement and recoil control rather than relying on a single TTK number.
- Account for magazine use: The VMP’s official base magazine holds 40 rounds, while the Warzone recommendations specify different magazine attachments.
- Check when a guide was updated: The cited CODMunity builds and multiplayer ranking were updated in September 2026. Balance changes can alter which attachments are attractive.

No official Activision statement identifies the VMP as having the fastest TTK. Use the numbers as attributed estimates, alongside mode and distance, rather than as a promise of a particular result in a live match.
