If you want to see your character’s legs and feet while exploring Fallout 4 in first person, Full Body First Person – F4SE is designed to do that. It adapts the game’s animations to show an animated player body, with directional movement and configurable head-bobbing. The mod page lists support for Fallout 4 OG, NG, and AE; check its current requirements and compatibility notes for your game before installing.
What Full Body First Person changes
The mod makes the player character’s body visible in first-person view, including legs and feet. Its author says it adapts Fallout 4’s vanilla animations and adjusts movement direction, animation speed, and transitions as you walk, run, strafe, or move backward.

Head-bobbing and other options can be configured through the Mod Configuration Menu and an included INI file. The author recommends installing with a mod manager. For the current download, requirements, supported files, and setup details, consult the mod’s Nexus Mods page.
What to expect from the visuals
A visible body can make first-person movement feel more grounded, but the author documents visual issues rather than promising a seamless view in every situation. Clipping may occur with some animations, poses, camera angles, or interactions; the known-issues list also mentions missing forearms and a weapon appearing in shadows.
#1 Best Overall
- Freedom and Liberty Do whatever you want in a massive open world with hundreds of locations, characters, and quests. Join multiple factions vying for power or go it alone, the choices are all yours
- Be whoever you want with the special character system. From a power Armored soldier to the charismatic smooth talker, you can choose from hundreds of perks and develop your own playstyle
- New next generation graphics and lighting engine brings to life the world of fallout. From the blasted forests of the common wealth to the ruins of Boston, every location is packed with dynamic detail
- Intense first or third person combat can also be slowed down with the new dynamic Vault Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S) that lets you choose your attacks and enjoy cinematic carnage
Those caveats matter most if you expect the camera and character model to behave consistently across every action. The available mod documentation does not establish that these issues are resolved in every setup.
How it compares with True First Person
True First Person is a separate mod with its own features and requirements. Both describe a visible body and directional first-person movement, but True First Person also documents options for retaining first-person behavior during interactions that normally force a different camera view.
