Samsung identifies the Exynos 2400e as the processor in the Galaxy S24 FE. Samsung lists a deca-core CPU with four clock-speed groups; published benchmark figures are results from a review of the complete phone, not universal scores for the chip by itself.
What is the Exynos 2400e?
The Exynos 2400e is the processor Samsung lists for the Galaxy S24 FE. Samsung’s Gulf product page identifies the chip by name, while the company’s September 27, 2024 launch announcement describes the handset’s processor as an Exynos 2400 series chipset. These sources establish the S24 FE as the relevant retail device; they do not establish a standalone consumer chip or an upgrade path.

These are handset specifications published by Samsung. They do not, on their own, establish how fast the phone performs in a particular app or how long it sustains peak performance.
Phone specifications that shape the experience
The processor operates as part of a complete phone. The same Samsung Gulf page lists a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, FHD+ resolution of 1080 × 2340, a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, and a handset weight of 213g. Samsung’s launch announcement lists a 4,700mAh battery and says the S24 FE has a vapor chamber 1.1 times larger than the previous FE model. These are device details, not standalone Exynos 2400e specifications.

- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
What Samsung says about the Exynos 2400 family
Samsung’s Exynos 2400 platform page describes the 2400 family as having a deca-core CPU, hexa-core GPU, third-generation 4nm low-power process, and Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging (FOWLP). Samsung says FOWLP improves heat resistance by 23% in single-core operation and 8% in multi-core operation compared with the previous packaging type. The company also claims a 14.7-times AI performance improvement over Exynos 2200.

Those are Samsung’s family-level platform and comparison claims. They provide context for the Exynos 2400 series, but should not be treated as independent measurements of the 2400e or assumed to apply identically to it.

Exynos 2400e benchmark results
Tom’s Guide’s 2025 Galaxy S25 FE review includes results for the S24 FE it tested. The reported figures are measurements from that review device:
| Benchmark or workload | Galaxy S24 FE review result |
|---|---|
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 2,161 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 6,386 |
| 3DMark Wild Life Unlimited | 86.63 fps |
| Adobe Premiere Rush transcode | 1:19 |
These are Galaxy S24 FE review-device results, not guaranteed Exynos 2400e scores. Benchmark version and workload, software, cooling, battery state, ambient conditions, and sample variation can affect outcomes. The results also reflect the phone’s full design and settings, so they do not isolate the processor.
Rank #4
Tom’s Guide’s table compares the S24 FE with an S25 FE using Exynos 2400. That is a comparison between two phones, not an identical-device swap that controls for differences in cooling and other hardware. See Tom’s Guide’s review for the reported comparison.

Clock speeds alone cannot establish which processor is faster in practice. A meaningful comparison needs matching benchmark versions and workloads, and should account for complete-device cooling and sustained performance as well as peak results.
- Check that both results use the same benchmark version and workload.
- Compare complete devices and note differences in cooling and software.
- Distinguish a controlled laboratory test from a product review.
- Look for sustained-performance measurements as well as peak scores.
The available figures above do not establish a controlled, chip-only Exynos 2400e-versus-Exynos 2400 result or standardized long-duration thermal performance.
Software and platform context
Samsung’s 2024 fourth-quarter interim report describes the Galaxy S24 FE platform as Exynos 2400e, Android 14, and One UI 6.1. Its discussion of improvements over the previous FE generation concerns the device comparison in that report; it should not be recast as a processor-only benchmark. See Samsung’s interim report.
