Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 edges the reported AnTuTu total and leads clearly in the listed Geekbench single-core result, while the Geekbench multi-core scores are nearly tied. The picture is mixed: 91mobiles’ comparison shows Exynos 1680 ahead in AnTuTu CPU and UX components, and Snapdragon ahead in GPU and memory components. These are database-reported results, not controlled matched-phone tests, so they do not establish which chip will be faster or last longer in every handset.
For practical buying decisions, compare the phones using these processors—not just the processor names. Cooling, software, regional configuration, battery, and other handset choices can affect the experience.

How do the specifications compare?
Both processors are listed as 4nm, eight-core chips by 91mobiles, but their reported CPU layouts and platform features differ. Samsung identifies the Exynos 1680’s graphics as Xclipse 550 based on AMD RDNA 3. Qualcomm lists an Adreno GPU for Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3; 91mobiles identifies it as Adreno 732.

| Specification | Exynos 1680 | Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| Process and core count | 4nm; 8 cores (91mobiles) | 4nm; 8 cores (91mobiles) |
| Reported CPU layout and peak clock | Cortex-A720/A520 tri-cluster; up to 2.9GHz (91mobiles) | Cortex-X4 prime core with Cortex-A720/A520 cores; up to 2.8GHz (91mobiles) |
| Graphics | Xclipse 550, based on AMD RDNA 3 (Samsung) | Adreno GPU; Adreno 732 identified by 91mobiles |
| Wi-Fi platform support | Wi-Fi 6E (Samsung) | Wi-Fi 7 through FastConnect 7800 (Qualcomm) |
| AI information published | NPU rated up to 19.6 TOPS; Samsung says this is based on internal test results | Hexagon scalar, tensor, and vector components listed by Qualcomm; no directly comparable workload score supplied |
| Camera and network capabilities | Samsung lists support for up to a 200MP sensor | Qualcomm lists platform support including the X63 modem-RF system |
These are platform features and maximum capabilities, not guarantees that every phone will enable them. Phone makers choose which features to implement. Core labels and peak clock speeds also cannot settle real-world speed by themselves: processor design, cooling, power limits, and software matter. A 4nm label alone is not enough to infer battery efficiency.

What do the AnTuTu and Geekbench scores show?
91mobiles’ comparison, accessed in 2026, reports the following scores. Its page does not describe a controlled, matched-device testing protocol, so treat the figures as results from that comparison rather than universal performance guarantees.
| Benchmark | Exynos 1680 | Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 | What the reported results indicate |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 1,392,494 | 1,450,949 | Snapdragon is higher in this dataset. |
| AnTuTu CPU | 515,439 | 376,759 | Exynos is higher in this component. |
| AnTuTu GPU | 383,216 | 489,792 | Snapdragon is higher in this component. |
| AnTuTu memory | 202,958 | 335,562 | Snapdragon is higher in this component. |
| AnTuTu UX | 290,881 | 248,836 | Exynos is higher in this component. |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,382 | 1,826 | Snapdragon is higher in this reported result. |
| Geekbench multi-core | 4,540 | 4,544 | The scores are nearly tied in this dataset. |
The overall AnTuTu score favors Snapdragon in this comparison, but the component scores show why a single total does not tell the whole story: Exynos leads in the CPU and UX figures, while Snapdragon leads in GPU and memory. Geekbench likewise shows a larger difference in the reported single-core results than in multi-core. None of these numbers measures performance in every app or phone.

Which is better for gaming?
The available benchmark data favors Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 in the AnTuTu GPU component, and Qualcomm’s platform uses an Adreno GPU. Samsung’s Xclipse 550 is based on AMD RDNA 3. Those details make Snapdragon the stronger choice on the reported graphics benchmark, but they do not prove it will deliver higher frame rates in every game or handset.

It therefore cannot establish which chip maintains performance better during long sessions, runs cooler, or offers better game compatibility. For a gaming purchase, look for testing on the exact phone model and configuration, including frame-rate consistency and temperature over time.

Which processor is faster overall?
There is no unqualified winner in the supplied comparison. Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 has the higher reported AnTuTu total and Geekbench single-core score; the multi-core scores are nearly equal. Exynos 1680 leads the listed AnTuTu CPU and UX components. Which difference matters depends on the task, and the results are not a substitute for testing the actual phones.
Samsung also states that Exynos 1680’s GPU performance is up 16% versus Exynos 1580, based on Samsung’s internal testing. Samsung cautions that results may vary with operating conditions and other factors. That is a comparison with the earlier Exynos chip—not with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.

Do AI, camera, and connectivity features make one the better choice?
Samsung gives the Exynos 1680 NPU a rating of up to 19.6 TOPS, based on internal test results. Qualcomm lists Hexagon scalar, tensor, and vector components for Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, but the cited specifications do not provide a directly comparable AI workload test. A TOPS figure and a list of accelerator components are different kinds of information, so they do not establish which chip performs better for a particular AI feature.

Samsung lists support for up to a 200MP camera sensor on Exynos 1680. Qualcomm lists the X63 modem-RF system for Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. For Wi-Fi, Samsung specifies Wi-Fi 6E and Qualcomm specifies Wi-Fi 7 through FastConnect 7800. These describe platform capability; the phone manufacturer determines what the finished device supports, and actual network performance depends on implementation and compatible equipment.

Which phones use these processors?
91mobiles lists the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G with Exynos 1680. Its listed Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 examples are OnePlus Nord 4, realme GT 6T, realme GT Neo 6 SE, OnePlus Ace 3V, and Sharp Aquos R10. This is a database list, not a complete or region-universal catalog. Confirm the processor in the exact regional model before buying; names, configurations, availability, and support can vary.
When comparing two phones, check the factors the chip benchmark cannot answer: local price, software support, display, battery capacity, cooling, and the specific model’s performance under sustained use. A processor result by itself does not make one handset the better purchase.
