NanoReview’s comparison gives the Snapdragon a modest lead in AnTuTu 11 overall, while the Exynos leads several listed graphics tests. The result is workload-dependent—and a phone’s cooling, software, battery, and configuration matter as much as the chip name.
How do the specifications compare?
Both platforms use eight CPU cores: four Cortex-A78 performance cores rated up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The Exynos lists a slightly higher maximum clock for its A55 cores. Their main stated differences are manufacturing process and graphics hardware.

These are platform specifications, not promises about a particular phone. A 4 nm process label does not by itself establish longer battery life or higher sustained speed, and modem peak rates depend on the network, supported bands, and handset implementation. Samsung also cautions that actual Exynos performance can vary with system configuration and operating conditions.

What do the benchmark results show?
The figures below are the results displayed on NanoReview’s comparison page. They are benchmark snapshots, not a controlled test of two otherwise identical phones. The page shows different numbers of tests for the chips, and scores can vary with the devices and conditions involved.
| Benchmark | Exynos 1380 | Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 | Lead in this comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 overall (113 Exynos tests; 64 Snapdragon tests) | 767,711 | 798,429 | Snapdragon |
| AnTuTu 11 CPU | 320,484 | 312,937 | Exynos |
| AnTuTu 11 GPU | 91,141 | 73,407 | Exynos |
| AnTuTu 11 memory | 113,558 | 196,121 | Snapdragon |
| AnTuTu 11 UX | 242,528 | 215,964 | Exynos |
| Geekbench 6 single-core (56 Exynos tests; 33 Snapdragon tests) | 1,008 | 1,015 | Snapdragon, narrowly |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,710 | 2,687 | Exynos, narrowly |
| Geekbench 6 compute (35 Exynos tests; 23 Snapdragon tests) | 3,048 | 2,116 | Exynos |
| 3DMark Steel Nomad Light | 279 | 254 | Exynos |
| 3DMark Wild Life Extreme | 808 | 792 | Exynos |
The aggregate AnTuTu lead does not mean Snapdragon leads every component: the Exynos scores higher in the listed CPU and GPU subtotals, while Snapdragon scores higher in memory. Geekbench CPU results are nearly even, with each platform ahead in one test. The listed 3DMark and compute results favor Exynos, but synthetic graphics scores do not translate directly into guaranteed game frame rates.

See NanoReview’s live comparison for its displayed scores. A separate 91mobiles comparison surfaced with different AnTuTu and Geekbench results; because the devices and conditions behind those figures are not established here, they should not be combined with NanoReview’s data as if they came from one test.
Which chip is better for everyday use?
The benchmark evidence does not establish a meaningful universal winner for routine tasks. The small, split Geekbench CPU differences suggest similar CPU capability in these results, but app responsiveness also depends on the phone’s software, memory, storage, and thermal behavior. A chip-only ranking cannot predict how every handset will feel.

Which is better for gaming and graphics?
Exynos leads the listed 3DMark tests and Geekbench compute result, but those results alone do not establish which phone will deliver better gaming. Game support and optimization, graphics drivers, cooling, and sustained performance can change the experience. Compare tests of the exact handsets you are considering, especially if gaming is a priority.

Samsung lists Exynos 1380 NPU capability up to 4.9 TOPS. Qualcomm describes an AI Engine and Hexagon NPU, but the cited vendor descriptions do not supply a directly comparable real-world AI result. Treat the labels as feature descriptions, not proof that one platform performs AI tasks better.

- Designed to Be Repaired, Not Replaced: The Fairphone Gen. 6+ is built around a 12-part modular design, so you can swap the battery, screen, speaker, or cameras yourself with just a screwdriver instead of replacing the whole phone. It's backed by a hardware warranty of up to five years and software support through 2033.
- Smooth Performance, Serious Durability: Powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and 12GB RAM, keeping apps fast and multitasking smooth. The 120Hz OLED display makes scrolling feel buttery, not choppy, and Gorilla Glass 7i plus IP55 splash-resistant means it can handle what your last phone couldn't. There's 256GB built in (expandable up to 2TB), so you're never trading photos for space.
- Less Noise, More You: Fairphone Moments lets you switch between full Android and a distraction-free mode with up to five essential apps of your choice. Working, traveling, or spending time with the people who matter - you decide what shows up on your screen, and what stays out of reach.
- US Carrier Compatibility: This Android smartphone supports AT&T and T-Mobile, and supported MVNOs on those networks. It is not supported on Verizon or Verizon-network MVNOs. 5G speeds require a 5G-enabled SIM/eSIM and supporting data plan, and availability varies by carrier and location.
- Google's Gemini AI Assistant, Built In: Use Gemini Live to identify what's in front of your camera, summarize the group chats you're behind on, or plan your day. Not interested in AI? You can easily toggle it off. Your phone, your call.
The quoted mobile-data rates are theoretical peaks, not expected everyday speeds. Actual service depends on network conditions and bands as well as the modem implementation in the phone. Qualcomm’s listed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features likewise do not guarantee that every Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 handset enables every feature. Check the specifications for the precise regional model.
