What the Beyond 2 Pro offers
ELEHEAR describes the Beyond 2 Pro as a receiver-in-canal (RIC) OTC hearing aid and the newest model in its Beyond series. Its intended users are adults 18 and older with mild-to-moderate hearing loss. The FDA defines OTC hearing aids for adults with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss; this category is not intended for children or people with severe or profound loss. - Size and protection: The manufacturer lists a weight of 4.3 g per device and an IP67 dust- and water-resistance rating. These are specifications, not independent findings about comfort or durability.
- Connectivity: Auracast reception is listed as a feature. The product information does not establish how well it will work with a particular venue or device.
- Replaceable parts: Receiver wires are described as user-replaceable. The box listing includes a pair of aids, a charging case, size 3 receiver wires, ear domes and wax guards.
ELEHEAR says the model adds a newer VOCCLEAR version, a smaller and lighter body and case, more sound customization, IP67 rating, Auracast support and replaceable receivers compared with the prior Beyond Pro. Those are manufacturer comparisons; they do not establish a measured improvement in fit, sound or reliability.

ELEHEAR reports the following improvements over its previous generation. The company says the figures come from its own controlled testing, and that results vary. They are not independent tests of the Beyond 2 Pro or comparisons against other hearing aids.

Launch coverage in The Hearing Review reports the product introduction, not an independent hands-on test. No independent numerical outcome study or hands-on evaluation of this exact model is established in the available evidence. Treat the performance figures as claims to investigate rather than predictions of what you will hear.
Battery life, trial, warranty and price
ELEHEAR’s FAQ says the aids last up to 20 hours on a single charge and recommends charging them in the case nightly. “Up to” is a manufacturer-stated maximum, not a guaranteed daily runtime; actual use and settings can affect battery life. The Beyond 2 Pro’s stated OTC category makes it a possible option for adults who perceive mild-to-moderate hearing loss and want to consider self-directed amplification. That category alone cannot determine whether it fits an individual’s hearing needs. If speech is still difficult to understand in a quiet room, or loud sounds are difficult to hear, FDA guidance recommends seeking help from a hearing professional.

Do not treat certain symptoms as a routine shopping decision. The FDA advises medical attention for warning signs that include:
- Ear pain or discomfort, an ear injury or deformity, or blood, pus or fluid from the ear.
- Excessive earwax or a suspected foreign object in the ear.
- Vertigo, or sudden or fluctuating hearing changes.
- Noticeably worse hearing or tinnitus in one ear.

How to decide whether it is worth the price
At the listed $799 price, the practical question is whether the device works for your ears and listening needs—not whether its feature list is long. Use a trial period, if currently offered, to evaluate it in the situations where you need help, and check the return rules before opening or using the product. Compare alternatives on the same points rather than treating ELEHEAR’s internal generational claims as a direct comparison with other models.
