The Electrolux Pets 500 EFC52513DB is a bagless canister vacuum with a 2 L dustbin and a pet nozzle intended for hair on carpets, beds and textiles. Its published specifications include 1750 W power and a cleaner-only weight of 4.8 kg. Electrolux’s Australian product page and fact sheet disagree on cleaning reach—8 m versus 7 m—so check the documentation for your exact regional model before relying on either figure. These are documented features and manufacturer claims, not independent test results.
What the Electrolux EFC52513DB includes

The Australian product page lists a 2 L dustbin, cyclone separator, combination floor nozzle, pet nozzle, upholstery nozzle, 2-in-1 tool, accessory holder and automatic cord rewind. The separate fact sheet describes the floor head as a Combination Interlock nozzle and lists upholstery and pet nozzles plus a crevice/brush 2-in-1 accessory. These are listed components, not proof of pickup performance or convenience.

Is it good for pet hair?
The EFC52513DB has a nozzle that Electrolux describes as intended for animal hair on carpets, beds and textiles. That makes it a pet-focused configuration on paper, but the tool’s inclusion does not establish how well it lifts embedded hair. No independent or hands-on pet-hair results are available here, so there is no sound basis for calling its removal performance strong or comparing it with powered or turbo pet tools.

What Electrolux says about filtration and suction
Electrolux says the filter captures “up to 98.9%” of microdust particles above 1.0 microns. The company attributes the figure to an external test under EN 779:2012 measuring initial fractional efficiency for particles above that size. It is a manufacturer-reported, threshold-specific claim; it does not establish HEPA classification, capture of smaller particles, or filtration performance over the filter’s service life.
Electrolux also describes the cyclone separator as providing “2X longer suction power.” Its footnote cites internal testing under IEC 62885-2 edition 2.0, clauses 5.1, 5.10 and 5.12. This is the manufacturer’s test claim, not an independent comparative result. Neither claim tells you how the vacuum performs after extended use in a household.

Which filter fits the EFC52513DB?
Electrolux lists exhaust filter part number ESKW9 for this model. The company’s New Zealand accessory page describes the ESKW9 Performance Kit as containing one multilayer washable motor filter and one washable exhaust filter, and names EFC52513DB among compatible models. Check your appliance’s rating plate and the parts listing for your region before ordering; a model name alone may not resolve regional or product-code differences.
Electrolux says its manuals can be found by searching its documentation service using the model number or PNC, which appears on the appliance rating plate. Its parts catalogue also supports model or PNC lookup. See the ESKW9 kit listing, Electrolux UK’s manual-finding guidance and its filter catalogue.

What the published evidence can—and cannot—tell you
Electrolux’s Australian product page displayed a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 22 reviews at the time represented by that page. This is a manufacturer-site snapshot; without review dates, rating distribution or detailed review text, it cannot show how representative the feedback is.
The available material does not establish independent results for carpet or hard-floor pickup, pet-hair removal, suction retention, noise, emissions, emptying mess, durability or long-term filter performance. Wattage and nozzle names are not substitutes for those measurements. This review can describe the documented configuration and qualify Electrolux’s claims, but it cannot support a comparative verdict on real-world cleaning performance.
