Der „Pokédex“ in Elden Ring Reforged ist ein Bestiarium namens Codex of the All-Knowing: Er erfasst Gegner, nicht Pokémon. Im 2023 beschriebenen Ablauf markierten Spieler Feinde mit hergestellten Signs und mussten sie anschließend besiegen, um Einträge freizuschalten. Die aktuelle Mod-Seite führt den Codex weiterhin als System zum Verfolgen von Gegnern, Erlernen ihrer Schwächen und Freischalten von Belohnungen.
Was der Pokédex-Vergleich tatsächlich bedeutet
Der Vergleich mit einem Pokédex beschreibt eine vervollständigbare Gegner-Enzyklopädie. Es gibt in diesem Feature kein Pokémon-Crossover und keine Möglichkeit, Gegner einzufangen. Der Codex of the All-Knowing gehört zum umfassenden Overhaul Elden Ring Reforged (ERR). Laut der aktuellen Beschreibung des Mod-Teams soll er dabei helfen, Gegner zu verfolgen, ihre Schwächen kennenzulernen und Belohnungen freizuschalten: Nexus-Mods: Elden Ring Reforged.

Wie das Erfassen der Gegner 2023 ablief
Ein Bericht von PCGamesN vom 24. Januar 2023 beschrieb den Ablauf für Reforged-Version 0.5.0. Damals erhielt man den Codex of the All-Knowing in der Tafelrundfeste. Mit dem Knowledge Seeker’s Cookbook stellte man Signs of the All-Knowing her. Diese Signs dienten dazu, Gegner im Kampf zu markieren; erst wenn ein markierter Gegner besiegt wurde, erhielt der Codex seinen Eintrag.

PCGamesN nannte für diesen damaligen Stand mehr als 350 Einträge. Das ist eine historische Angabe zur Version 0.5.0 und keine bestätigte Gesamtzahl für den aktuellen Build. Auch die damaligen Belohnungen sind nicht automatisch auf die heutige Version übertragbar: Vollständig dokumentierte Gegner ließen laut Bericht mehr Runen fallen, und bei jeweils 25 Prozent Codex-Fortschritt gab es einen Starlight Token, der gegen einen beliebigen Gegenstand im Spiel getauscht werden konnte. Das ERR-Listing auf Nexus Mods führt Version 2.3.5.3 und als letztes Update den 24. September 2026. Es beschreibt den Codex weiterhin als Möglichkeit, Gegner zu verfolgen, ihre Schwächen zu lernen und Belohnungen freizuschalten. Die Seite bezeichnet Reforged zugleich als umfassendes Overhaul mit tiefgreifenden Balance-Änderungen. Wer vor allem die Vanilla-Balance beibehalten möchte, sollte deshalb berücksichtigen, dass der Mod weit mehr verändert als nur das Bestiarium.
Installation, Updates und Kompatibilität
Die Mod-Seite stellt einen Launcher bereit und verweist für die Installation auf die README-Dateien im entpackten Download. Folge diesen mod-spezifischen Hinweisen, statt Installationsschritte aus einer älteren Anleitung ungeprüft zu übernehmen. Das Projekt wird laut Listing häufig aktualisiert; dort wird außerdem vor sehr geringer Kompatibilität mit anderen Mods gewarnt. Eine Kombination mit weiteren Mods sollte daher nicht als verlässlich vorausgesetzt werden.
