EarthLink Network lists 18 products it says it builds in-house, spanning shared software foundations, work tools, monitoring, customer support, and learning systems. The roster mixes public-facing services with internal infrastructure and tools still in development, so it is not a list of 18 launched commercial products.

What does EarthLink Network build in-house?

EarthLink Network’s official portfolio is organized into six operating areas. The products range from components that support the company’s other services to standalone tools and internal systems. Product names and status below follow the company’s official product page.

This is the software portfolio of EarthLink Network on eln.ne.jp, not the connectivity plans of the similarly named U.S. internet provider, which describes fiber, wireless 5G, and satellite services on its internet services page. The sources do not establish the legal or ownership relationship between the entities.

1. Building the foundation

These five products provide shared identity, billing, notifications, components, and secrets distribution across the portfolio.

  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
  • dotvault (formerly env-sync) is a secrets-distribution SaaS for delivering sensitive files, including .env files, certificates, and kubeconfig, to devices and CI environments with dotvault pull. Its official description says users do not need an AWS account.
  • platform is a monorepo of shared components, including a block editor, shared DynamoDB logic, rate limiting, and notifications.
  • ELN ID (formerly onion) is an OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect identity provider used to consolidate authentication for products including promptflow, usesources, alive365, and plovant.
  • notify is shared notification infrastructure for email, Slack, LINE, and webhooks. It supports prioritization, fallback, and duplicate-send protection.
  • ELN Billing (formerly billing) is a Stripe-based billing foundation. One API handles contracts, coupons, and one-time charges; signed webhooks notify services about payments and cancellations.

2. Building sites and driving traffic

  • plovant (formerly web-platform) is a multi-tenant CMS that the company says runs 10–20 sites from one admin console. It supports block editing, AI page and image generation, multilingual translation, and hostname-based routing. The company says its own page is delivered through plovant.
  • aio-helper is an SEO operations SaaS that ingests Google Search Console data, uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to propose improvements, and measures their effect. The official page marks it In development.
  • curation collects topics such as AI and security, summarizes and translates stories, and delivers them to individuals. The official page labels it Internal use.

3. Getting work done

  • promptflow (Prompt Flow Studio) is a SaaS for working with multiple AI services, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, through chat, comparison, debate, and workflow modes. Outputs are version-controlled, and the official page says an iOS version is also available.
  • usesources combines a wiki, tasks, chat, cross-search, and AI agents in a project-centered workspace. Permissions are tied to project membership.
  • local-commander uses a local LLM to sort development tasks, route work, request human approval when needed, and automate implementation and review. In a first-person account, author Sho Uehara describes a workflow that can include pushing changes, opening a pull request, review, merge, and task updates; this is an author-reported implementation detail, not an independently audited workflow.
  • claude-plugins (ELN workflow) is a private plugin foundation for distributing the company’s specifications process, quality standards, and operational practices across projects. The official page labels it Internal infrastructure.

4. Monitoring and managing

  • alive365 (PulseGuard) provides availability monitoring, including end-to-end browser checks, multi-location monitoring, incident management, and status pages.
  • eln-infra-ops is internal infrastructure for reproducing and operating the company’s CI server fleet from code. Its pass/fail criteria are based on tests on real machines. The official page labels it Internal use.
  • Costwary (formerly kale) is a multi-cloud cost-management foundation that displays AWS, GCP, Azure, and OpenAI costs. It can send Slack or Teams notifications about budget overruns and anomalies. The official page labels it Internal use.

5. Supporting customers

  • DialoGrid (formerly desk) is a RAG chatbot foundation for multiple sites, with FAQs, appearance, and initial responses that can vary by site. The official page marks it In development.
  • community-v2 is a community SaaS for AI adoption, with templates, posts, prompt review, courses, notifications, and search. The official page marks it In development.

6. Building verification and learning materials

  • tessvia is a foundation for deriving tutorials, operation manuals, end-to-end tests, and liveness monitoring from one canonical scenario.

How the portfolio fits together

EarthLink Network presents the collection as a response to operational needs rather than a suite designed all at once. The company says, “As we came to run our own operations on AI, one need led to the next—building, monitoring, repairing, and managing—and each of those needs became a product we built in house.” The statement appears on the company’s product page and is not attributed there to a named executive.

In a first-person account, Sho Uehara describes the progression as build, monitor, repair, manage, and then manage the managing. The account offers examples of how the tools were used internally, but those figures are author-reported rather than independently verified:

  • Uehara says curation handled 2,516 articles a day and that triage reduced analysis cost from $1.0–$3.7 per day to $0.13. These are figures reported in the author’s account, not third-party measurements.
  • Uehara says alive365’s design eliminated always-on line equipment that had cost $58–$66 a month. This is an internal example, not a general savings estimate.
  • The account says the dedicated-machine decision for local-commander, identified as DGX Spark, followed benchmark measurements across 16 cases. That detail concerns development infrastructure; it is not a product recommendation.

The implementation examples come from Uehara’s account, “The 18 products EarthLink Network builds in-house”. Its page displays “Posted on Aug 25” and “Edited on Aug 30” without a visible year in the date line, so those dates alone do not establish when it was published.

What the 18-product count does—and does not—mean

The count is the company’s official roster, grouped across six areas. It should be read as a portfolio of capabilities, not as 18 equivalent products available to outside customers. The official page explicitly identifies some entries as internal use or internal infrastructure and marks aio-helper, DialoGrid, and community-v2 as in development. Those status labels matter when interpreting what is launched or externally usable.
