Which resources need better tools?

A separate fan quest guide reports early requests that connect resource gathering with town restoration: selling berries to obtain a shovel, bringing six Sticks and four Logs to Hugh the Blacksmith, planting four wheat plots for Leah, and supplying four Logs to repair Rufus’s cart. Those counts and quest steps are that guide’s current reports, not developer-confirmed universal requirements.
Officially, crafting is part of a broader restoration loop: Wild Forest Studio and Curve Games described gathering resources, upgrading tools, restoring buildings, unlocking crafting stations, decorating the farm, and creating places for dragons to rest and play. Their July 29, 2026 Steam announcement puts it simply: “Crafting is how you bring the world back to life.”
