Colorlib Login Form 15 is a free front-end sign-in design, not a working authentication system. It gives you a form layout with two main fields, social icons and an image banner above the form; to sign users in, you must connect its submission to a server-side login handler or authentication service.
What Colorlib Login Form 15 includes
Colorlib uses two names for this template: its dedicated page calls it “Login Form V15,” while its 2026 roundup calls it “Login Form 15.” The distinguishing visual element is an image banner above the form, which Colorlib says can be replaced with an image or your site’s logo. The design also includes two main form fields and social icons.
The dedicated page displays a post date of March 7, 2021, and separately lists “Released: 2025.” Those are separate date fields on the page, not a single confirmed launch date.
What the download does—and does not—do
The template supplies interface design. It does not verify credentials, create user accounts, or sign anyone in. Colorlib makes this distinction explicitly in its current roundup: “A login page template is the front end only.” A real sign-in requires a backend or authentication service to receive the submission and handle authentication.

In HTML, the form’s action specifies where the browser sends the submission, and method determines how it is sent. MDN explains that GET appends form values to the URL and is intended for submissions without side effects; POST sends them in the request body. Login credentials should not be submitted using GET. Your application’s authentication handler must be configured to accept the form submission, validate credentials, and manage the resulting authenticated session. Serve the login page and submit credentials over HTTPS.
The presence of social icons does not establish that social sign-in is implemented. A social login button needs a real integration with the relevant identity provider; the template’s appearance alone does not provide one.

License and attribution
The dedicated template page lists a CC BY 3.0 license. Colorlib’s current roundup says its templates are free for personal and commercial projects under CC BY 3.0 when the Colorlib credit link is retained. Keep that credit when using the template unless you have verified that a different license or permission applies to your download. Do not assume that “free” means public domain or that attribution can be removed.
How to adapt the template
- Get the template from its dedicated Colorlib page. Use the page’s download and preview options to identify the design you intend to use.
- Open the downloaded HTML and related style files in an editor. Locate the visible text, links, form markup, and styles before changing them.
- Replace the banner image or logo. Choose an asset that fits the layout, then update the image reference in the template. Check that the image remains legible and appropriately sized on narrow screens.
- Update the form fields and labels for your application. Give each input an accessible name; Bootstrap’s form guidance identifies a corresponding
<label>as the simplest approach. Use suitable input types and meaningful autocomplete attributes, and allow password managers to fill fields and users to paste passwords. - Connect the form to your authentication handler. Set the form’s
actionto the route your application actually processes and choose a method appropriate to that handler. A front-end change alone does not create the route or authentication logic. - Adjust the presentation and verify it in context. Change colors, fonts, spacing, and background imagery in the CSS. Test the finished page at mobile and desktop widths, check that labels and controls remain usable, and confirm that submission reaches the intended handler over HTTPS.
Colorlib describes its collection as plain HTML and CSS with a small amount of vanilla JavaScript, and says the collection can be used alone or with Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. That is collection-level guidance, not an independently verified dependency list for this specific download. Check the files you download before assuming which framework or scripts this particular template requires.
