Dorian Godon finished sixth at the 107th Coppa Bernocchi – GP Banco BPM on 5 October 2026, crossing the line in the same time as winner Noa Isidore. The Netcompany INEOS rider stayed clear of a late crash before sprinting for the finish.
How the race unfolded
Netcompany INEOS described the race as fast and aggressive. Its account says an early break of four riders gained more than four minutes. With 48 km remaining, teammate Jhonatan Narváez attacked on a climb while the gap to the break was reported at 1:30. He joined a group of four, and one rider from the original break dropped back, leaving five ahead.

Behind that move, Bob Jungels, Filippo Ganna and Ben Swift helped drive the chase. The team report says the peloton caught the move with 7 km to go.

According to Netcompany INEOS, Ganna led with 1 km remaining. Swift then moved forward with Godon on his wheel. A crash disrupted the closing sprint and involved Swift, who quickly remounted. Godon stayed clear and sprinted to sixth.

Race details
The Italian Cycling Federation lists the 107th Coppa Bernocchi – 50th GP BPM on 5 October 2026 as a UCI ProSeries 1.Pro race over 178.14 km. Its event detail gives a start in San Giorgio su Legnano, seven laps on a Valle Olona circuit with climbs, and a finish on Via XX Settembre in Legnano. Lega Ciclismo Professionistico also lists the race date and 1.Pro classification.
