It depends on which Redmi Note 15 Pro you mean. Xiaomi’s 4G model does not support eSIM or wireless charging, but it has a hybrid SIM/microSD slot with storage expansion listed up to 2TB. Xiaomi’s 5G specifications list an eSIM option in some markets; they do not establish microSD support for every 5G variant. Check the regional model and carrier before buying.

What to know about the 4G model
eSIM is not supported
Xiaomi’s Mexico FAQ covers the non-5G Redmi Note 15 Pro and says it is not eSIM-compatible. Xiaomi Global identifies its Redmi Note 15 Pro as a 4G/3G/2G handset. These statements concern the 4G model, not every phone sold under the Pro name.

Wireless charging is not supported
The same Xiaomi FAQ explicitly says the 4G model does not support wireless charging. Its listed alternatives are wired charging at up to 45W and wired reverse charging at up to 18W. microSD works, but shares the tray
The 4G model has a hybrid SIM/microSD slot and Xiaomi lists expansion up to 2TB. A hybrid tray shares its second position: you can use a second SIM or a microSD card there, not both at once. Check the card and phone variant before purchase.

What changes on the 5G model?
eSIM is listed, with regional and carrier limits
Xiaomi’s Mexico and France specifications for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G list a dual-SIM configuration of nano SIM + nano SIM or nano SIM + eSIM. Xiaomi cautions that eSIM availability may vary by country or region and operator, and that an eligible wireless service plan is required. Confirm that the precise regional SKU and your carrier support eSIM before relying on it.
microSD support is not established by the cited 5G listings
The Xiaomi 5G specification pages cited above list the eSIM configuration but do not state whether that 5G model supports microSD. An omission is not proof that it lacks a card slot. Check the exact local 5G product specifications or ask Xiaomi or the seller to confirm the slot and supported capacity.

How to check a listing before buying
- Confirm whether the listing is for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G or Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G; their specifications are not interchangeable.
- Match the model to the country where it will be sold, using Xiaomi’s regional product page or the seller’s exact SKU.
- If you need eSIM, verify both phone compatibility for that region and support from your mobile carrier.
- If you need expandable storage, confirm that the exact model lists microSD and check whether its tray is hybrid; for the 4G model, Xiaomi lists expansion up to 2TB.
- If wireless charging matters, look for explicit support on the exact model’s regional specifications rather than inferring it from the Pro name.
Charging and what comes in the box
For the 4G model, Xiaomi lists 45W wired charging and a charger and USB-C cable in the Global package contents. Xiaomi notes that box contents may vary by region. The manufacturer does not give a wireless charging wattage for this model because its FAQ says wireless charging is unsupported.
