It can connect by USB, but that does not guarantee full compatibility on every platform. PlayStation says USB keyboards can be connected to PS5, though it does not certify the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini specifically or promise keyboard input in every game. Basic typing on a Mac is plausible over USB, but Razer’s model support page does not confirm current macOS or Synapse 4 support. For Xbox, Razer’s “Xbox Controller Mapping” feature name is not proof of console compatibility.
Compatibility at a glance
| Platform | USB connection | What is established | What is not established |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mac | Wired USB-C keyboard; the included cable is USB-A to USB-C. | Basic keyboard input is plausible over a standard USB connection. | Razer’s model support material does not explicitly confirm current macOS compatibility or full Synapse 4 configuration on Mac. |
| PS5 | PlayStation says to connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard to the console. | General USB keyboard connection guidance from PlayStation. | PlayStation does not certify this exact Razer model, and keyboard support varies by game. |
| Xbox | The keyboard is wired, but the reviewed Razer guidance does not document connection to Xbox consoles. | Razer lists a feature called “Xbox Controller Mapping (full analog).” | That feature description does not confirm console compatibility or keyboard support in Xbox games. |
The model covered here is the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini, SKU RZ03-0499. Razer lists a separate Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz product, so check the SKU before applying claims about that variant. Razer’s 8KHz product page is for the distinct model.

Does it work on PS5?
You can try connecting it to a PS5 over USB. PlayStation’s instructions say, “Connect your USB or Bluetooth® keyboard to your PS5™ console,” and direct users to their device instructions for compatibility and use. That is general keyboard guidance, not certification of the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini. Read PlayStation’s PS5 keyboard and mouse guidance.
Even if the console recognizes the keyboard, an individual game must support keyboard input for it to work in gameplay. PlayStation’s general connection guidance does not provide a game-by-game compatibility list for this Razer model, so check the controls or support information for the specific game you want to play.

Can you use it on a Mac?
The RZ03-0499 connects by detachable USB-C, and Razer lists an included USB-A-to-USB-C cable. A direct wired connection makes basic keyboard input plausible, but the reviewed Razer support material does not explicitly guarantee current macOS compatibility. Connect it directly using the supplied cable and check whether your Mac recognizes it.
Razer lists Synapse 4 support for the keyboard, but its model support page does not establish full Synapse 4 configuration on macOS. Do not assume advanced settings will be available just because the keyboard can connect; verify support for your macOS and Synapse versions if you need software configuration.
