Segway Navimow describes its EFLS navigation as combining LiDAR, Network RTK (NRTK) and vision. The practical question is whether that combination fits your yard and has Network RTK coverage where you live—not whether LiDAR has replaced RTK.
This is a manufacturer-specification review, not an independently tested performance review. Navimow’s claims can help you assess the H2 on paper, but they do not establish its real-world cut quality, reliability or superiority over an RTK-only mower.

How does the H2 combine LiDAR and RTK?
LiDAR and RTK do different jobs in the navigation system Navimow describes. LiDAR provides spatial awareness, while Network RTK supplies satellite positioning precision; vision provides additional assistance. Navimow says the system can switch positioning modes in 20 milliseconds. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independently verified performance results.
In Navimow’s words, the H2 fuses “LiDAR’s spatial awareness and Network RTK’s satellite precision” with vision. That description makes the H2 a combined-navigation mower, not a LiDAR-only alternative to RTK. Navimow presents LiDAR as useful beneath trees and in darkness, and Network RTK as providing precision in open areas.

What yard conditions does Navimow say the H2 can handle?
The H2’s advertised features may be relevant if your lawn has trees, narrow routes or slopes. Each figure below is a manufacturer claim, not an independent measurement or guarantee.
- Tree cover: Navimow says the combined system is intended to navigate beneath trees. Its materials do not establish how consistently it will work in every kind of canopy or yard.
- Narrow paths: Navimow claims the mower can navigate passages as narrow as 2.3 feet. A claim about navigation width alone does not establish that every route layout is suitable.
- Slopes: Navimow claims a maximum slope of 45% (24°), specifying grass 1.97 inches high, a dry surface and no obstacles for the stated condition. That does not establish traction on wet grass or on a slope with obstacles.
- Obstacles and animals: Navimow claims recognition of more than 200 obstacle types and 0.4-inch detection accuracy. It also says the mower identifies more than 20 animal types and slows when 3.3 feet away. These claims are not a safety guarantee; do not rely on the mower to protect people or animals.
Does the H2 need Network RTK coverage?
Yes, Network RTK is one of the navigation inputs Navimow advertises. Its US listing says Network RTK access and required cellular data are included at no extra cost where supported, but availability depends on location. Check coverage by postcode on the official US listing before buying. “Included” should not be read as a promise of coverage at every address or as a statement about terms in other markets.

Navimow’s US listing gives these capacities and prices. Prices are manufacturer-listed figures accessed in 2026, can change and are not a sizing recommendation.

Use the capacity that matches the area you need to mow, then account for the shape and route layout of your yard. The listed acreage alone does not show how much time the mower will need to cover a particular lawn or whether it will manage a specific configuration.

What setup and control features are advertised?
Navimow describes automatic mapping and GeoSketch, a real-scene map-editing feature. Its materials say users can set schedules and cutting heights for up to 30 areas, and control the mower with Alexa or Google Home. The source materials describe these features but do not establish setup time or how well each workflow performs in practice.

Navimow lists six blades, an anti-clogging cutting disc, a 100 W motor, a 60 dB(A) noise rating, an IP66 rating and a warranty of up to three years. These are manufacturer-stated specifications or terms; the warranty duration and conditions should be checked for your market and purchase.

What can this review—and the available evidence—not establish?
There is no independent hands-on comparative evidence here. Navimow’s product claims do not establish actual cut quality, mowing coverage, navigation consistency, slope traction, noise in use, durability, obstacle-detection reliability or setup experience. Nor do they show that the H2 is better than an RTK-only mower. A fair comparison would need evidence about navigation inputs and local coverage, yard constraints, capacity, setup and mapping, safety, price, connectivity terms, parts and warranty for both products.

Are replacement parts available?
Navimow’s H2 accessories listing includes Blade Assembly Plus and an H2-series anti-clogging cutting disc. Confirm the exact model compatibility before ordering a part. The listing also names MowGate, but the available information does not establish enough about its function to recommend it.
