Nacon’s MyNacon support page states: “The Revolution 5 Pro Controller is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.” This is the manufacturer’s compatibility guidance, not an independent test of every game or device configuration.

How to connect it to a console
For PS5 or PS4, use the included USB-C cable or the controller’s dedicated 2.4 GHz USB receiver. Set the controller’s platform switch to the console you’re using. Nacon does not support connecting the controller to a PlayStation over Bluetooth.
Nacon’s product FAQ says another USB dongle cannot replace the dedicated receiver. If yours is lost, check Nacon’s current parts support: its FAQ mentioned a replacement dongle as forthcoming but does not establish that one is currently available.
#1 Best Overall
PS5 compatibility and documented console testing
Nacon’s quick-start guide says it validated operability with PS5 CFI-1000 series consoles and recommends the front USB port for the receiver on that series. That statement documents Nacon’s validation scope; it should not be read as an independent test or as confirmation that every PS5 revision was tested.
Using it on PC and Steam
Switch to PC mode for Windows gameplay. Nacon says the controller works with PC games that support XInput, a limit that matters if a game expects a different input method. Nacon’s support wording is “compatible with all PC games that are XInput compatible”; it is manufacturer guidance rather than a guarantee for every game or setup.

Although the Revolution 5 Pro works on PS5, it does not offer full DualSense feature parity: Nacon says it has no haptic feedback and does not vibrate in dedicated PS5 games. On PS4, Nacon says vibration works in PS4 games. In either console generation, the controller cannot wake the PlayStation from rest or power it on.

Wireless, battery life, and other limits
The wireless console connection described by Nacon uses the included dedicated 2.4 GHz receiver, not Bluetooth. The product can pair with compatible true-wireless earbuds or headsets over Bluetooth, but that pairing feature is separate from connecting the controller to a console.
Nacon lists battery life as more than 10 hours, depending on power settings. This is the manufacturer’s product-page figure, not a measured runtime under a specified test. The product page lists a release date of 30 October 2023.

What to check if it does not work
- Confirm the platform switch is set to PS5, PS4, or PC as appropriate.
- For a console, try the included cable or the dedicated receiver; a different dongle is not a substitute.
- On PC, check whether the game supports XInput and use PC mode, including for Steam.
- On PS5, do not treat the lack of vibration or haptic feedback as evidence that basic controller compatibility has failed.
