No: Nacon’s Revolution 5 Pro does not appear to have a built-in display. Its touch pad and status LEDs are not a screen. The controller’s documented adjustments use onboard controls for a few tasks and Nacon’s companion app for advanced customization. The screen belongs to a different model: TechRadar reported on October 2, 2026, that the Revolution 5 Unlimited adds a built-in control screen.
Does the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro have a screen?
Nacon’s product and support materials describe a touch pad, indicator LEDs, multifunction controls and app-based settings, but do not document an onboard display or visual menu. The touch pad is for audio control; it is not a screen. The manual describes the LEDs as status indicators, including for checking battery level.

The likely source of confusion is the separate Revolution 5 Unlimited. TechRadar reported on October 2, 2026 that the Unlimited is the first officially licensed PS5 controller with a built-in control screen. That screen feature should not be attributed to the Revolution 5 Pro.
What can you adjust on the Revolution 5 Pro?
Controls available without the app
In classic mode, Nacon documents three adjustments or controls that can be made on the controller:
#1 Best Overall
- Map the four rear shortcut buttons.
- Adjust trigger travel using the trigger-stop position.
- Control audio through the touch pad.
These onboard functions do not turn the touch pad into a display or provide a visual settings menu.
Advanced settings in the companion app
Nacon says the Revolution 5 Pro app provides more than 60 setting variations in advanced mode. The controller includes four advanced presets: racing/sports, FPS, arcade/fighting and infiltration. They are presets supplied by Nacon, not guaranteed performance improvements. Users can also create and share profiles.

To change advanced settings, Nacon’s August 17, 2026 support instructions specify this workflow:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Install the Revolution 5 Pro companion app on a PC or Mac.
- Connect the controller to the computer and set it to wired mode.
- Set the controller’s platform switch to PS5 or PS4.
- Select advanced mode and follow the app’s instructions.
- Exit the app to save changes. Nacon warns that disconnecting or turning off the controller without exiting the app will not save them.
The app’s availability on Mac does not mean the controller is supported for Mac gameplay. Nacon’s FAQ lists gaming compatibility as PS5, PS4 and PC, and says the controller is not compatible with Mac.

- ADVANCED SOFTWARE CUSTOMIZATIONS VIA LCD SCREEN: Easy and intuitive customization, mapping programming, and audio source mixing right on the controller.
Can you change profiles without the app?
The controller has onboard controls for rear-button mapping, trigger-stop adjustment and audio control, but Nacon directs users to the app for advanced mode and its broader setting variations. The documentation does not establish a screen-based profile menu or that every advanced profile setting can be changed directly on the controller.
How does battery status work without a screen?
When connected to a PS5 through the USB dongle, the battery level appears in the PS5 interface. In other listed connection or platform cases, tap the back of the controller twice and read the LEDs beneath the touch pad. The manual says actual play time varies with enabled features and the game; Nacon’s product page claims more than 10 hours of battery life, which is a manufacturer specification rather than an independent test result.

What the controller does not support
- PS5 haptic feedback: Nacon says the controller has no haptic feedback. Its vibration motors work with PC and PS4 games, but not dedicated PS5 games; vibration is distinct from PS5 haptics.
- Macros: Nacon says macro support is not available.
For model comparisons, the useful distinctions are whether a controller has an onboard display, whether adjustments happen on the controller, in software or through a screen menu, which platforms it supports, and which controls can be changed on the fly. Available information establishes the Pro’s app and touch-pad workflow and the Unlimited’s reported screen, but not every Unlimited specification.
