Yes—but OneStream Live does not continuously play a file directly from Google Drive. You first import the video into OneStream, then use its 24/7 streaming feature to broadcast to YouTube. OneStream’s Help Center says 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only, requires an Enterprise plan, and can run for up to 30 days per scheduled stream.
What “streaming from Google Drive” means in OneStream
Google Drive is the source for importing your video into OneStream’s content library; it is not the location from which OneStream continuously plays the live broadcast. OneStream’s documented process requires a Drive sharing link, then uploads the video into OneStream. The 24/7 setup can use content from Cloud Storage, including that imported video.
This distinction matters if you expect changes to the Drive file to flow automatically into an ongoing stream: the documented workflow imports the video into OneStream first. See OneStream Live Help Center’s “How to Import Video Files from Google Drive?” and “How to Start 24/7 Live Streaming?”, updated September 28 and September 3, 2026, respectively.
Requirements and limits
- Destination: The 24/7 feature is for YouTube only.
- Plan: It requires an Enterprise plan, according to OneStream Live’s Help Center.
- Duration: One scheduled 24/7 stream can run for a maximum of 30 days.
- Imported content: The video must be added to OneStream before you select it for the broadcast.
These are separate limits: OneStream’s general prerecorded-stream documentation says events may be scheduled up to 60 days ahead. That is the advance scheduling window, not permission for a 60-day continuous broadcast. See “What Are the Ways to Go Live with OneStream Live?”, updated July 21, 2026.

Import a Google Drive video and schedule a 24/7 YouTube stream
- Set the Drive link’s access. In Google Drive, open the video’s sharing controls, set access to “Anyone with the link,” and copy the link. This makes the file accessible using that link; only use this setting if it is appropriate for the video.
- Import the video. In OneStream, open My Content, choose Upload and Videos, then select Add Videos. Choose Cloud Storage and Google Drive, paste the link, and upload the video.
- Connect YouTube if needed. Connect the YouTube account you want to use in OneStream if it is not already connected. OneStream’s YouTube streaming guide, updated August 18, 2026, covers connecting an account and scheduling prerecorded streams.
- Create the continuous stream. Start a 24-hour Stream, add the imported video or videos, select the YouTube channel, and enter the stream details.
- Set when and how long it runs. Choose to start immediately or schedule a later start, set the duration in days, and schedule the broadcast. The maximum is 30 days per 24/7 stream, and the feature requires Enterprise.
When a playlist or recurring schedule is a better fit
OneStream also offers playlist streaming and recurring prerecorded streams. They are different from one uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast: a playlist queues multiple videos, while recurrence schedules separate broadcasts at a chosen interval and occurrence count.
- Playlist: OneStream’s playlist guide says this is available on Professional and Enterprise plans. See “How to Create a Pre-recorded Streaming Playlist?”, updated September 10, 2026.
- Recurring prerecorded stream: Use this to repeat scheduled events rather than to represent an indefinite continuous broadcast. See “How to Set Up Recurring Streams or Webinars?”, updated September 21, 2026.
Common issues to check
- OneStream cannot access the video: Confirm the Drive link is set to “Anyone with the link,” then copy and paste the correct link again.
- The 24/7 option is unavailable: Check whether the account has the Enterprise plan; OneStream documents that plan as a requirement for 24/7 streaming.
- You expected playback to continue beyond the scheduled period: A 24/7 stream has a 30-day maximum duration. Scheduling an event up to 60 days ahead does not extend that broadcast limit.
- You need repeated events rather than one continuous broadcast: Configure a recurring prerecorded stream instead. A recurrence schedule and a 24/7 broadcast serve different purposes.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is simply to keep uploaded videos live on YouTube, StreamNeo is another option: upload the recording, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Every slot supports the video as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; the monthly option is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo for details, or start your free day.
