Yes: in Brazil, Mercado Livre lists Disney+ Padrão com anúncios (Standard with Ads) as the Disney+ benefit in Meli+ Total. That does not mean Mercado Livre has just added ads to every Disney+ account. Disney and Mercado Livre announced the ad-supported partnership in 2024, and the current Meli+ plan page still identifies Total’s included tier as ad-supported. Meli+ Mega also lists Disney+, but its public plan summary does not specify the Disney+ tier. Check the benefit and final price shown for your account before subscribing or changing plans.
Why does Disney+ have ads through Meli+?
Disney+ offers different subscription tiers, and the benefit bundled with Meli+ Total is specifically the ad-supported Standard tier—not necessarily the same plan someone buys directly from Disney. Disney announced its ad-supported Disney+ partnership with MELI+ on June 24, 2024, for Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Colombia. Disney’s announcement described the partnership as part of the Latin American launch of its ad-supported service.

Mercado Livre’s current Brazilian plan page labels the Total benefit “Disney+ Padrão com anúncios.” That is evidence of the tier included in that plan, not evidence that all Meli+ members were recently moved or that a subscriber’s separate Disney+ plan changed. A promotion ending, a change in Meli+ tier, or ads in a live broadcast can also explain what a viewer sees.
Which Meli+ plans list Disney+?
Mercado Livre’s Brazilian plan summary distinguishes the three tiers as follows. Plan names, benefits and prices can vary by country, account and offer; check the terms shown at checkout.

These benefits are listed on Mercado Livre’s Meli+ page. The page does not establish that Mega’s Disney+ access is ad-free, so do not assume that from the word “included.” Entertainment benefits require Meli+ Total or Mega, according to Mercado Livre’s benefit information.
What do the ads mean when you watch?
The “with ads” label refers to the Standard with Ads tier included with Meli+ Total. Advertising in on-demand programming is different from advertising that is part of live coverage: Mercado Livre’s terms say live events and sports may contain advertising independently of the plan. Its Disney-related terms do not establish a fixed ad count, duration or placement for every title.

Seeing a sponsor message or commercial during a live event therefore does not, by itself, show that your subscription was downgraded. Content availability and features can also differ by tier and region; confirm current plan details rather than assuming that downloads, video quality, simultaneous streams or a particular sports event are included.
How to activate the Meli+ Disney+ benefit
Mercado Livre says existing platform accounts can generally be linked, preserving the profile and content history. The exact menu labels can differ between the app and website.

- Subscribe to or activate an eligible Meli+ Total or Mega plan.
- Open the entertainment benefits area in your Mercado Livre account and select Disney+.
- Link the Disney+ account you already use, or create an account if you do not have one.
- After linking, sign in to Disney+ with that account and check that the expected profiles and benefit are available.
If you have multiple Disney+ logins, verify the email address before linking. Using the wrong one can leave you looking at an empty or unfamiliar account rather than your usual profiles.
If you already pay Disney+ separately
Activating a Meli+ benefit does not necessarily stop billing from Disney or another provider. Mercado Livre warns that subscribers with a directly billed plan—particularly one above the included tier—may need to cancel the separate subscription to avoid duplicate charges. A subscription billed through a telecom company or pay-TV provider may have to be canceled with that provider instead. Check Mercado Livre’s account and billing guidance, and confirm the Meli+ benefit works before canceling a plan you still rely on.

- Compare the tier you have with the tier Meli+ offers before switching; do not assume the bundle preserves every feature.
- After activation, inspect the billing account and next charge at the original provider. Canceling or changing one billing relationship does not establish that another has ended.
Can you get Disney+ without ads through Meli+?
Meli+ Total’s listed Disney+ tier is Standard with Ads. Mercado Livre has published limited-time upgrade promotions for other Disney+ tiers, but those offers do not establish a permanent upgrade option or a standing price. The public Meli+ summary is also too imprecise to confirm which Disney+ tier Mega supplies. Check your account’s benefit page and checkout terms for the available upgrade, its eligibility rules and recurring charge.
Another option is to subscribe directly to Disney+ and select the tier currently offered in Brazil. That gives you direct plan selection, but compare the total against any Mercado Livre shopping, shipping or payment benefits you would give up. If you receive Disney+ through a carrier or TV provider, compare its tier and cancellation terms before moving the account.

Prices and promotions: check the renewal amount
Mercado Livre’s public page advertises plans from R$9.90 and discounts of up to 65%, but those messages do not establish a universal regular monthly price. The amount shown can depend on the tier, billing period, promotion, account and country. Confirm the total at checkout, including whether the offer is monthly or annual and what will be charged after any introductory period.
Mercado Livre’s published terms describe promotions that last for a limited period and then revert to the applicable regular price unless canceled. They also show eligibility restrictions, which can exclude some new subscriptions, annual plans or upgrades. Historical offers are not current price quotes: for example, terms listing May 20–June 17, 2026 promotions are outside those dates and should not be treated as available now. Is Meli+ worth it if you want Disney+?
Judge the whole bundle, not just its introductory price. Meli+ Total is a stronger fit if you already shop regularly through Mercado Livre, use its payment or delivery benefits, and are comfortable with the ad-supported Disney+ tier. It is a weaker fit if you want ad-free viewing, rarely use Mercado Livre, or already receive Disney+ through another bundle.
Meli+ Mega may make sense if you would otherwise pay for several of its included services, but verify the Disney+ tier and compare the ongoing price with the services you actually use. For a fair comparison, add the post-promotion Meli+ charge to the value of benefits you will use, then compare that total with your current separate subscriptions. Avoid counting a benefit as savings if you would not otherwise pay for it.

Fix common Meli+ and Disney+ problems
- Disney+ benefit is missing: Check that your account has Total or Mega, not Essencial, and review the benefit status in Mercado Livre.
- Wrong Disney+ account or profiles: Check which email was linked. Use the account-linking options shown in Mercado Livre rather than creating another account before confirming the existing one.
- Two charges appear: Check both the Meli+ account and the original Disney+ or third-party billing account; the charges may be managed separately.
- The charge increased: Review the promotion end date and renewal amount in the offer terms and billing area.
- You see ads during sports or a live event: Live-event advertising may be present independently of the plan, so distinguish it from the ad-supported tier’s on-demand experience.
- You plan to cancel Meli+: Check which entertainment benefits depend on the membership and the cancellation terms before ending it; confirm any separate subscriptions you want to keep are active and billed as expected.
