Yes—Far Cry 6 has an optional secret ending as well as its main campaign finale, but it is not a branching story with many major endings. The secret route becomes available early, after Libertad establishes its base. The main finale comes later and follows a largely fixed outcome. Spoilers follow in the sections below.
How many endings does Far Cry 6 have?
In practical terms, there are two outcomes to know about: the late-game main ending and an optional secret escape ending that can be triggered much earlier. The main story offers few choices that substantially change its conclusion; the secret ending is a separate route, not an alternate path to liberating Yara. PC Gamer’s ending explainer describes the campaign’s outcome as largely fixed.

How to get the secret ending
Spoilers for the unlock point and ending setup. After completing “Libertad Rises” and establishing Libertad’s headquarters on Zamok Archipelago, Dani receives a boat. Instead of continuing the campaign with Juan, use the boat to head toward the edge of the map.
- Complete “Libertad Rises” and the scene establishing Libertad’s HQ on Zamok Archipelago.
- Take the boat from the dock and sail away from Yara toward the map boundary.
- When the “Leaving Yara” warning appears, continue out rather than turning back. The secret ending will trigger.

No. Gamer Guides says to reload the save after the scene; you can then continue the campaign, explore the end-game area, or fast-travel back to earlier regions. The same guide reports that the “Hidden In Plain Sight” trophy or achievement is awarded for seeing the secret ending; treat that as a guide-reported detail, since trophy and achievement behavior can depend on platform.
