Best Buy’s US online payment-options page lists Zip but does not list Afterpay. That means the official information reviewed does not show a way to choose Afterpay directly at BestBuy.com checkout. If you want to split an online purchase into payments, Best Buy documents Zip as an option; check its current terms and eligibility before agreeing.
Can you pay with Afterpay at Best Buy?
Best Buy’s US payment-options page names several online methods, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Zip. It does not name Afterpay. Based on that published list, do not expect an Afterpay button in BestBuy.com checkout.

Afterpay’s general US instructions explain how to shop with participating retailers: choose a store in its Shop Directory, select Afterpay at checkout, then sign in or complete any required account approval. Those instructions apply to participating stores generally; they do not confirm that Best Buy is one of them.
How to use Best Buy’s documented installment option
Best Buy’s US checkout instructions describe Zip, not Afterpay, for online installment payments. To try Zip:

Why Afterpay’s card and in-store instructions do not confirm Best Buy acceptance
Afterpay also describes an in-store flow involving an eligible Afterpay Card added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, followed by a contactless payment. The available instructions do not verify that Best Buy accepts that card or that this flow works at a particular Best Buy location. Treat it as unconfirmed rather than as a reliable way to pay at Best Buy.

Afterpay’s US payment-method guidance says it accepts US-issued Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards, a Cash App Card, and eligible US checking accounts, along with some digital payment methods. It also says credit cards are accepted for Pay in 4, not Pay Monthly. These are rules for funding an Afterpay account; they do not establish that Best Buy accepts Afterpay.
Payment methods differ by country
The US payment list should not be applied to Canada. Best Buy Canada’s payment-method page lists Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Best Buy Gift Card, and Best Buy Financing with Fairstone for online orders. Check the payment options for your country and the methods displayed at checkout, since retailer payment offerings can change.

Best Buy checkout restrictions to know
Best Buy’s US payment page also describes limits on combining payment methods for online orders. You cannot use more than one credit or debit card, combine PayPal with a credit or debit card, or combine Apple Pay with a credit or debit card. The page also notes a restriction on combining credit or debit cards with prepaid cards. Review the current checkout rules if you need to split payment across methods.
