The Dodocool DC39 is an older, single-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi repeater and access point. Reviews advertised a 300 Mbps link rate and a 100-meter range, but those figures are not verified real-world performance, and the available sources do not establish a current price or whether the model is still for sale.

What is the Dodocool DC39?

The FCC record identifies model DC39 as a Wireless N access point/repeater associated with Shenzhen TOMTOP Technology Co., Ltd. Its filing was authorized on January 5, 2017, for operation in the 2.412–2.462 GHz band. FCC ID 2AHDI-DC39 record

That makes the DC39 a Wi-Fi networking device, not a Bluetooth headset. The similar “D39” name also appears on unrelated audio products, so the exact DC39 model designation matters.

What do its specifications say?

Feature What published sources report What that does—and does not—tell you
Wi-Fi band 2.4 GHz; the FCC record covers 2.412–2.462 GHz. FCC record; Mi Mundo Gadget; WirelesSHack It is not described as a dual-band extender. The sources do not establish the coverage or speed you will get in a particular home.
Wireless standard and advertised rate Reviews list 802.11b/g/n and up to 300 Mbps. Mi Mundo Gadget; WirelesSHack “Up to 300 Mbps” is a published link-rate specification, not a promise of 300 Mbps internet throughput.
Range Reviews report a 100-meter rated distance or coverage claim. Mi Mundo Gadget; WirelesSHack The sources provide no test conditions or independent measurements, so this is not a guarantee of usable range in a home.
Operating modes and Ethernet Reviews report repeater and access-point modes, plus an Ethernet port. Mi Mundo Gadget; WirelesSHack The port speed and exact package contents are not established by these sources.

The 100-meter claim should be treated particularly cautiously: distance figures do not account for walls, interference, router placement, or other conditions that affect a real connection.

Could it fill a Wi-Fi coverage gap?

Its reported repeater mode is intended to extend an existing Wi-Fi network; its reported access-point mode provides another way to use the device. Whether either mode suits your setup depends on your router, the location of the weak-coverage area, and how you can connect the equipment. The available specifications do not demonstrate that the DC39 will improve coverage in a particular home.

Before choosing any extender, check the router’s supported bands and the area you want to cover. Compare the extender’s bands, advertised rates, Ethernet availability, access-point mode, and current availability. These are useful specification checks, not substitutes for real-world performance testing.

Is the “excellent price” claim still relevant?

The title’s price framing comes from older coverage: a 2017 review described the DC39 as inexpensive, while a 2019 review also covered the model. Mi Mundo Gadget; WirelesSHack Those sources do not establish a current sale price, active listing, or present-day value. Treat the affordability claim as historical rather than a reason to buy now.

Verdict

The DC39’s published profile is straightforward: a 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n repeater/access point with a reported Ethernet port, an advertised rate of up to 300 Mbps, and a review-listed 100-meter range claim. It may be relevant if you are examining this specific older model, but the evidence does not verify its actual performance, present availability, or current value. For a purchase decision, compare currently available devices against your router’s bands and your coverage needs rather than relying on the DC39’s historical price or range language.
