What the first CONTROL adds

- Start with CONTROL Resonant if you want Dylan’s story and prefer not to catch up first. The game is positioned as independently playable.

PlayStation says Spider-Man 2 takes place roughly nine months after Miles Morales, which is set a year after Marvel’s Spider-Man. Follow that order if you want the story to unfold with its earlier character and plot context; start with Spider-Man 2 if you would rather jump straight in.

What “Marvel games” means for play order
There is no single play order established for all Marvel games. Titles can belong to different series and continuities, so do not assume that PlayStation’s guidance for Insomniac’s Spider-Man games applies to another Marvel title.
