The official listings describe these DLC items as visual customization: glasses let characters wear different frames, and the What-If Costume Set lets certain characters change outfits. The listings do not say whether those choices affect combat, stats, dialogue, or story scenes, so those effects cannot be confirmed from the published descriptions.
What the DLC descriptions say
Glasses Sets A and B
Steam describes Glasses Set A as cosmetic items and lists Navy Blue Glasses, Large-Framed Glasses, and XL Star Party Glasses, with 14 of each design. Once claimed, the items can be equipped through the in-game Costume menu. Steam’s Glasses Set A listing describes them as appearance items.

Steam’s DLC catalog describes Glasses Set B as an attachment set that lets characters equip glasses. The What-If Costume Set is described as allowing certain characters to change into what-if costumes.
How to claim and equip Glasses Set A
- Obtain the DLC items from the in-game DLC tab.
- Open the Costume menu and equip the desired glasses.
What is not established about gameplay or story
The official descriptions reviewed do not state whether costumes or glasses change character stats, combat, dialogue, or story scenes. Their wording supports treating the add-ons as visual customization, but it does not prove that they have no other effects. If you need to know whether a specific outfit changes a scene or interaction, these listings do not answer that question.

Requirements and platform availability
The base game is required. Nintendo’s North American Switch Season Pass listing groups glasses and costume sets with other customization content and says the main game is necessary to use it. The listing says the included content is also available for separate purchase. Its release schedule lists Glasses Set A for September 17, 2026, and Glasses Set B for October 1, 2026; it also warns that included content may change.
