Yes, YouTube supports multiple simultaneous live broadcasts on one channel—but that does not mean every cloud-based 24/7 service can create them. First distinguish sending one broadcast to several platforms from creating several separate live videos on the same YouTube channel. YouTube documents both simultaneous broadcasts and cloud-relay simulstreaming; support for the specific arrangement must be confirmed with the service provider.
“Multiple destinations” can mean two different things
Before choosing a setup, identify what you want viewers to see. YouTube uses “broadcast” for a distinct live video viewers can watch and “stream” for the incoming audio-video feed. Those are related, but not interchangeable.

- One broadcast sent to multiple platforms or channels: a simulstreaming relay takes one incoming feed and distributes it to multiple destinations. That is one program delivered in several places.
- Separate live videos on one YouTube channel: each broadcast is a distinct video. YouTube documents running concurrent broadcasts on the same channel, such as keeping a 24/7 feed live while a separate interview broadcast starts and ends.
A service that supports multistreaming across platforms does not automatically support creating several distinct concurrent YouTube videos. Check which outcome its documentation actually promises.

According to the YouTube Live Streaming API guide, a broadcast is a watchable event and a stream carries the feed into YouTube. A broadcast binds to one stream, and one stream can be bound to up to three broadcasts. YouTube notes that stream resources are often reused for events at different times; for simultaneous broadcasts that need different streaming settings, it describes creating separate stream resources.

The guide’s example is directly relevant: a channel can keep a 24/7 live feed going while starting a separate live video, such as an interview. The interview can end without interrupting the continuous feed. The guide was last updated September 14, 2026. Its “up to three” figure describes YouTube’s API stream-to-broadcast binding, not a guaranteed limit or feature of any cloud service.
What cloud relay services do—and what that does not prove
YouTube’s Help Center describes simulstreaming with a cloud relay: send one high-quality live input to the relay, which distributes it to selected channels, resolutions, or platforms. YouTube also says operators can repeat the process to broadcast multiple live streams on YouTube, “up to a limit,” but the cited page does not give a universal numeric cap. This describes a distribution workflow, not necessarily multiple separate live videos on one channel. A relay may send the same program to more than one platform, while a channel owner seeking a separate YouTube broadcast needs the service to expose or support that specific broadcast arrangement.

YouTube’s verified-encoder directory lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming and Upstream as a cloud studio for 24/7 live streaming. The directory does not establish that either service can create a continuous feed plus separate concurrent broadcast on one channel, state its destination limits, or identify which plans allow it. Treat that exact capability as unverified unless the vendor confirms it in current documentation or in writing.

For a multistreaming example, Restream’s encoder guide describes choosing channels and configuring an RTMP URL and stream key. That documents destination selection for its relay workflow; it is not proof that Restream creates multiple separate concurrent YouTube broadcast videos on one channel.
- Ask whether “multiple destinations” means several platforms receiving one program or distinct concurrent YouTube broadcast videos.
- Confirm whether the service can run the 24/7 prerecorded feed and a separate broadcast at the same time.
- Ask whether you configure one stream resource or separate stream resources, and whether the service can control each broadcast’s start and stop independently.
- Request the current destination and concurrency limits, plus any plan restrictions, in the provider’s documentation.
