But the available evidence does not prove that it is faster than the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. The official 7400X specifications are clear; benchmark figures come from different sources and, in one apparent head-to-head, the comparison is with the Dimensity 7400—not the 7400X.
At a glance: the differences that are established
| Area | Dimensity 7400X | Dimensity 7200 Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Four Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores, according to MediaTek. | Two Cortex-A715 cores up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores, as reported by NanoReview; an official full spec sheet was not available in the sources reviewed. |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G615 MC2, per MediaTek. | Mali-G610 MP4, per NanoReview. |
| Process | 4nm-class, per MediaTek. | 4 nm, per NanoReview. |
| Flip-phone displays | MediaTek explicitly documents dual-display support for flip phones. | No comparable dual-display claim was found in the available sources; that does not establish that every 7200 Ultra implementation lacks the capability. |
| Connectivity | Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a vendor-specified peak 5G downlink of 3.27 Gbps. | Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and download speed up to 4.7 Gbps, according to NanoReview. |
| Example phone | Motorola Razr 60, listed by 91mobiles as using the 7400X. | Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, identified by MediaTek in its February 2024 announcement. |
| Exact-pair benchmark winner | Not established by the available benchmark evidence. | |
The specifications are not equally sourced: MediaTek provides an official 7400X product page, while the 7200 Ultra details above come from a third-party comparison. Chipset features also describe platform capabilities, not necessarily what every phone maker implements.

What the 7400X offers on paper
MediaTek lists an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A78 cores running at up to 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores, plus Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. The page also specifies Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, support for camera sensors up to 200 MP, and a peak 5G downlink of 3.27 Gbps. The 3.27 Gbps figure is a vendor-specified peak, not a promise of real-world mobile speed; 200 MP is chipset support, not the resolution of every phone camera.

The defining feature is the intended flip-phone use: MediaTek says, “The Dimensity 7400X provides exclusive dual display support for flip phones.” That is the manufacturer’s product claim, rather than an independent comparison with the 7200 Ultra.

- Unfold extraordinary with Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold; with Pixel’s largest screen and Gemini, Google’s most advanced AI, it’s made for multitasking and entertainment[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Get a head start on syncing your data before it even arrives: After you purchase your new Pixel, look for an email that explains how to transfer your photos, videos, passwords, and more in just a few quick steps[14]
- The gearless, high-strength hinge makes it durable enough to handle about 10 years of folding[3]; plus, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is built with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance[4]
- The brighter-than-ever 8-inch Super Actua Flex display is Pixel’s largest screen yet[12]; and you can use Split Screen to plan a trip, drag and drop images, and open multiple apps at once[5]
What benchmark numbers do—and do not—show
NanoReview compares the 7400, not the 7400X
NanoReview’s comparison is between the Dimensity 7400 and the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. Its figures therefore cannot establish a direct 7400X-versus-7200 Ultra result. The page, checked in 2026, reports these results:
| Benchmark | Dimensity 7400 | Dimensity 7200 Ultra | What the comparison represents |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11 | 953,150 (91 samples) | 1,003,078 (40 samples) | NanoReview’s reported sample totals; the first chip is 7400, not 7400X. |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 1,061 | 1,174 | NanoReview’s listed figures, not a controlled 7400X comparison. |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 3,185 | 2,610 | NanoReview’s listed figures, not a controlled 7400X comparison. |
| 3DMark Steel Nomad Light | 406 | 463 | NanoReview’s listed figures, not a controlled 7400X comparison. |
The mixed pattern itself is a reason not to reduce performance to one score: the listed 7200 Ultra result is higher in some tests, while the 7400 result is higher in Geekbench 6 multi-core. These are reported database figures, not proof of how two specific phones will perform under identical conditions.

91mobiles lists a separate 7400X aggregate
91mobiles lists an AnTuTu score of 676,447 for the Dimensity 7400X, along with Geekbench 6 scores of 1,098 single-core and 3,043 multi-core. These are that site’s 7400X database aggregates, not matched results against NanoReview’s 7200 Ultra figures. Do not subtract or rank the numbers across the two sites as if they came from the same test setup.

Which chipset is faster in everyday use?
The available figures do not establish a controlled winner for the exact Dimensity 7400X and Dimensity 7200 Ultra pair. The apparent direct comparison is for the non-X Dimensity 7400, and the 7400X aggregate comes from a separate database. A phone’s cooling, firmware, memory configuration, screen settings, and software can also affect benchmark results and sustained performance, so a chipset name or isolated score is not a reliable guarantee of real-world speed.
For a practical buying decision, compare the complete phone models you can actually buy in your region: price, battery life, display, cooling, camera hardware, software support, and configuration matter alongside the processor. The Motorola Razr 60 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are examples associated with these chips, not a controlled device-to-device test; availability and exact configurations vary by market.
