The Dimensity 7400X and Dimensity 7300 Energy split the benchmark results: 91mobiles reports a higher AnTuTu total for the 7300 Energy, while its Geekbench single- and multi-core scores are higher for the 7400X. MediaTek’s official specifications confirm a small CPU clock difference between the 7400X and the related 7300X, but the available official page is not specific to the 7300 Energy. Treat the scores as results from tested phones, not a definitive ranking of every device using either chip.
Dimensity 7400X vs Dimensity 7300 Energy: specifications
The figures below combine MediaTek’s official 7400X specifications with 91mobiles’ Energy-specific listing. MediaTek’s cited 7300 page covers the 7300X, a related variant, so it should not be mistaken for an official 7300 Energy spec sheet.

| Specification | Dimensity 7400X | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Octa-core: 4 Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.6GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores, per MediaTek | 4 Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores, per 91mobiles |
| Manufacturing process | 4nm-class, per MediaTek | 4nm, per 91mobiles |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G615 MC2, per MediaTek | Mali-G615 MC2, per 91mobiles |
| Memory support | LPDDR5 and LPDDR4x, per MediaTek | LPDDR5 listed in the 91mobiles comparison |
| Storage support | UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1, per MediaTek | Not stated in the cited 91mobiles comparison |
The official Dimensity 7300X page lists four Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores, and Mali-G615 graphics. It is useful related-family context, but it does not independently establish the Energy variant’s specifications. The 7400X’s listed A78 maximum is 0.1GHz higher than the 7300 Energy figure reported by 91mobiles; that specification difference alone does not predict a phone’s real-world speed.

MediaTek says the 7400X “upgrades performance by over 10% compared to the previous generation chip.” That is the manufacturer’s claim; the cited product-page text does not supply the test conditions, and it is not a direct benchmark against the 7300 Energy.

Benchmark results: AnTuTu and Geekbench
The side-by-side results published by 91mobiles, accessed October 2026, point in different directions. They are reported device results, not benchmark guarantees from MediaTek.
| Benchmark | Dimensity 7400X | Dimensity 7300 Energy | Higher reported score |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 676,447 | 739,074 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu CPU | 203,894 | 220,937 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu GPU | 175,984 | 148,495 | Dimensity 7400X |
| AnTuTu memory | 125,234 | 202,647 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu UX | 171,335 | 166,995 | Dimensity 7400X |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,098 | 1,052 | Dimensity 7400X |
| Geekbench multi-core | 3,043 | 2,969 | Dimensity 7400X |
On these reported results, AnTuTu’s overall score favors the 7300 Energy, while Geekbench favors the 7400X in both listed tests. Even within AnTuTu, the 7400X has higher reported GPU and UX components, while the 7300 Energy leads in CPU and memory components. AnTuTu’s aggregate therefore should not be read as a win in every workload.

Why the results do not establish a universal winner
The available comparison does not establish a controlled test in which both chips were swapped into otherwise identical phones, nor does it provide a complete common testing protocol. Benchmark results can vary with the handset’s cooling, software, memory configuration, and benchmark version; those are general reasons for caution, not experimentally isolated explanations for these particular scores.

What the chip comparison means when choosing a phone
91mobiles lists the Motorola Razr 60 among phones powered by the Dimensity 7400X. This is an example of a retail device using the chip, not a matched comparison with a particular 7300 Energy phone.
For a purchase decision, compare the actual handset models rather than relying on chipset names alone. Check the phone’s price, display, cameras, battery, software support, and independent testing of those specific devices. Platform support also does not guarantee that a manufacturer has used the fastest supported memory or storage configuration in a given phone.
