There is not enough matched benchmark evidence to declare either the Dimensity 7200 Pro or Dimensity 7300X faster overall. The documented CPU configurations differ, and MediaTek positions the 7300X for flip-style foldables, but those facts do not establish real-phone speed. The 7200 Pro is associated with Nothing’s Phone (2a); MediaTek’s detailed specification page is for the base Dimensity 7200, so its specifications should not automatically be treated as confirmed details of every 7200 Pro implementation.
At a glance: what the specifications show
| Specification | Dimensity 7200 Pro context | Dimensity 7300X |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Nothing identifies the Phone (2a) as using the 7200 Pro. MediaTek’s base Dimensity 7200 specification lists 2 Arm Cortex-A715 cores up to 2.8 GHz and 6 Cortex-A510 cores. Nothing; MediaTek | 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. MediaTek |
| Manufacturing process | MediaTek describes the base 7200 as using TSMC’s second-generation 4 nm process. MediaTek | MediaTek describes a 4 nm-class process. MediaTek |
| Graphics | Arm Mali-G610 on the base 7200 specification. MediaTek | Arm Mali-G615. MediaTek |
| Other listed platform features | MediaTek’s base 7200 page lists 5G and Wi-Fi 6E among its capabilities. MediaTek | MediaTek lists NPU 655, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, LPDDR4x/LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage support. MediaTek |
| Design positioning | Nothing’s Phone (2a) is a device using the 7200 Pro. Nothing | MediaTek says the 7300X is designed for flip-style foldables and supports dual displays. MediaTek |
Why the core counts and clock speeds do not settle performance
The 7200 and 7300X use different CPU core arrangements: the base 7200 has two newer-design Cortex-A715 cores alongside six Cortex-A510 cores, while the 7300X has four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The listed peak clocks also differ. Neither core names nor peak frequencies alone show which finished phone will open apps faster, perform better in a particular game, or hold performance during a long session.

Phone makers’ implementation choices—including cooling, power limits, memory configuration and software—affect results. The GPU model names (Mali-G610 and Mali-G615) likewise do not establish sustained frame rates; game settings and the individual phone’s thermal behavior matter. Similar 4 nm-class process descriptions are not proof that two finished devices have equivalent power use or battery life.

What the available benchmark figure can—and cannot—tell you
Nothing’s comparison page reports an AnTuTu v10 score of 741,999 for the Phone (2a), which uses the Dimensity 7200 Pro. The page does not display a publication date for that figure. It is a manufacturer-published score for a handset, not an isolated chipset result or an independent head-to-head test. Nothing’s comparison page
#1 Best Overall
- PROFESSIONAL THERMAL VISION | The 512x384 thermal camera combines smooth 25fps imaging with 40mK thermal sensitivity to reveal subtle heat differences during electrical checks, HVAC diagnostics, engine inspections, building maintenance and repairs. With dual temperature ranges reaching up to 550°C, G3 Pro puts a serious thermal tool directly in your phone for troubleshooting and field work
- T-MOBILE CONNECTIVITY | Designed for compatible T-Mobile service in the U.S., G3 Pro android phone supports 5G where available, 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM and Dual Standby for flexible work, personal and travel use. Fast mobile data keeps navigation, cloud files, video calls and field apps moving, while NFC and multi-satellite positioning add useful support for payments and navigation
- FAST PERFORMANCE, SERIOUS STORAGE | The 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 pairs 12GB physical RAM with up to 12GB memory expansion for responsive multitasking across maps, reports, streaming and everyday apps. 512GB built-in storage plus up to 1TB expandable space gives you room for thermal records, photos, video and offline files, while the 6.72" FHD+ 120Hz display keeps scrolling and navigation fluid
- 10000MAH POWER, FLEXIBLE CHARGING – Built for long shifts, road trips, navigation and extended days away from a charger, the 10000mAh battery delivers serious endurance while the approximately 375g body keeps G3 Pro more manageable than many extreme-battery rugged phones. Recharge with 33W USB-C PD, use 18W wireless charging, or share power through reverse charging with compatible devices
- BUILT TOUGH, LOUD AND READY OUTSIDE | IP68/IP69K protection and MIL-STD-810H durability help G3 Pro handle rain, dust, mud, drops and demanding jobsite conditions, while the powerful 116dB speaker keeps calls, alerts and navigation easier to hear in noisy surroundings. A built-in camping light, 64MP Sony main camera, 50MP front camera, OTG and 3.5mm audio add practical tools for inspections, night tasks, work records and outdoor use
That page also lists 805,721 for the Phone (2a) Plus, but that phone uses the Dimensity 7350 Pro, not the 7300X. It is therefore not a valid 7300X comparison. No 7300X phone score under matching benchmark version and conditions is established here, so the 741,999 result cannot support a direct ranking between these chips.

If you are choosing between specific phones, compare the devices rather than treating a chipset specification as the verdict. Look for results using the same benchmark version and comparable firmware, performance mode, ambient conditions and repeat procedure. For gaming, sustained performance over a longer session is more informative than a single short peak run.

- Compare the exact phone models and regional variants; a chip’s capability does not guarantee every feature is enabled in every handset.
- Check sustained gaming behavior and thermals alongside short benchmark scores.
- Consider battery life, software support, price and regional availability for the phones you can actually buy.
The sourced information does not establish a matched performance test, a current 7300X phone lineup, regional prices or a device-level battery comparison. Those questions require evidence about the particular phones, not an inference from the processor names.
