Descenders codes and where to redeem them
Open Extras → Redeem Code in the game and enter a code. The Descenders Wiki says codes are case-insensitive. Its Items page lists the following cosmetic codes, but does not guarantee that each one remains active in every game version or on every platform.

NATIONS has historical confirmation from the publisher: a July 12, 2019 update announcement offered it alongside the Multiplayer Career launch. That announcement does not establish that the code is still redeemable now. How to unlock Career-Plus
Career-Plus requires 100,000 total REP, according to the Descenders Wiki’s how-to-play guide. REP is earned through riding and objectives; focus on completing runs and building combos rather than repeatedly taking risky jumps that end a session early.
The standard Career route is reported as Highlands → Forest → Canyon → Peaks. A third-party guide says completing a Boss Jump advances the route and describes region shortcuts tied to three successful boss-jump objectives. Because that route detail comes from a third-party guide rather than the official wiki page, check the current in-game map and objective prompts for the exact requirements in your version. What the game modes are for
The available modes and menus can differ by platform; the official wiki guide identifies Steam Mods as Steam-only. Use the mode that matches whether you want progression, practice, a daily run, or a shared ride.

Five bonus worlds and their hidden objectives
Each bonus-world objective is an exploration goal within Career. The Descenders Wiki Bonus World page says completing an objective unlocks that world in Freeride; completing all five awards the Go The Extra Mile achievement.

Some objectives are more specific than a simple finish-line run: the Mega Ramp asks for a single 5,000-REP combo, while Ranch requires its listed trick set. Follow the world’s on-screen objective text when attempting a challenge.

Riding tips for safer landings and better runs
The Descenders Wiki tips page emphasizes matching your speed and technique to the ramp instead of treating every jump as a full-speed launch.
- Counter-pump before landing. As you are about to touch down, push or hold the right stick up to soften the impact. The exact control binding can vary, so check the controls for your platform.
- Manage speed into jumps. A ramp’s shape and your momentum affect how far you travel. Tap the brake to shed speed in small amounts instead of holding it continuously through every approach.
- Use a full brake while sliding to slow down quickly. The wiki describes this as an efficient way to lose speed when you are already sliding.
- Recover when stuck. If you are stranded off-road or blocked during Career, use the respawn option described by the wiki rather than continuing to fight the terrain.
The tips page reports a 50 km/h (31 mph) danger-speed threshold associated with a bail costing two lives. Treat that as a wiki-reported rule, not a universal guarantee for every platform or current version, and consult your control binding before relying on a particular input.
Platform and game details
Descenders’ official website identifies the game as developed by RageSquid and published by No More Robots, and lists Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The wiki’s mode guide also notes that feature availability can vary by platform, so a menu or online requirement shown on one system may not match another.
