To remove Samsung Pass data from one Galaxy device, remove that device in Samsung Pass or Samsung Wallet. To request deletion of Samsung Pass data associated with your Samsung account, use Samsung’s Privacy Portal instead. These actions have different scopes: removing a device does not delete your Samsung account or information synchronized with Samsung Cloud.
Choose what you want to delete
| Your goal | Use this option | What it affects |
|---|---|---|
| Remove Samsung Pass data from one device | Remove the selected device through Samsung Pass or Samsung Wallet’s device-management settings | Samsung Pass data stored on that device, including biometrics, sign-in information, and app-use history |
| Delete one saved website or app login | Open that entry in Samsung Pass and choose the delete or edit option | The selected saved entry, rather than all Samsung Pass data |
| Request deletion of Samsung Pass data associated with your Samsung account | Submit a request through the Samsung Privacy Portal | Account-associated data covered by Samsung’s deletion request process; this is separate from removing one device |
Samsung’s device-removal instructions say the Samsung account, acceptance of Samsung’s terms, and information synchronized with Samsung Cloud remain after the device’s Samsung Pass data is removed. Don’t treat a device reset as deletion of every account-linked record or cloud copy. Samsung’s UK deletion guide and Samsung Korea’s guidance describe this boundary.

Remove Samsung Pass data from one device
Before starting, connect the device to the internet and sign in to the Samsung account used with Samsung Pass. Samsung warns that menu names and paths can differ by model and software version. Some current Galaxy devices present Samsung Pass controls inside Samsung Wallet rather than a separate Pass app.
From Samsung Pass
- Open the Samsung Pass app.
- Tap More, shown as a three-dot menu, then tap Settings.
- Tap Devices using Samsung Pass.
- Tap More beside the device you want to remove.
- Tap Remove, then tap Remove again to confirm.
This is the sequence in Samsung’s Canada support guide. Its UK guide provides the same device-removal path.

From Samsung Wallet
Samsung’s US instructions place the controls in Wallet: open Samsung Wallet, tap All, tap More options, then Settings and Manage devices. Open Devices using Samsung Pass, verify your identity if prompted, select the device, and remove it. Samsung describes this as resetting Samsung Pass on that device and deleting related data, including biometrics. See the Samsung US device-management guide.
Delete a single saved website or app entry
If you only want to remove one saved login, don’t remove the whole device. Authenticate in Samsung Pass, open the website or app entry, and choose its delete option; use edit if you want to change the saved information instead. Samsung describes this narrower action in its UK Samsung Pass explainer.

Request deletion of Samsung Pass data associated with your account
Use Samsung’s Privacy Portal when your goal is to request deletion of Samsung Pass information associated with the Samsung account, rather than just resetting one device. Samsung’s US Wallet FAQ gives this route: sign in to the Samsung Privacy Portal, then select My Data > Delete Data > Samsung Pass > Request Deletion. The portal’s available rights and labels can vary by region; follow the options shown for your location. Samsung says the portal lets users view, download, or delete personal data it has collected for services or apps requiring a Samsung Account, but this should not be confused with the device-specific reset process.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhat removal deletes—and what it does not
For device-level removal, Samsung identifies the affected information as biometric details, sign-in information, and app-use history stored in Samsung Pass on the selected device. The Samsung account itself, agreement to Samsung terms, and Samsung Cloud-synchronized information remain. Samsung also warns that deleted Samsung Pass information cannot be restored, so make sure you no longer need it before confirming. See the UK guide and Canada guide.

If the menus look different
- Look for Samsung Pass within Samsung Wallet if a separate Samsung Pass app or the listed path is not available; Samsung’s US support guide uses Wallet’s Manage devices controls.
- Use the labels available on your device rather than assuming every Galaxy model has identical menus. Samsung says paths can vary by model and software version.
- For account-linked deletion, use the Privacy Portal for your region. Samsung’s portal provides country- and region-specific privacy information, so its options may not match the US FAQ exactly.
