What Curseblood Stone does
Curseblood Stone is a melee Infusion Tarstone. It consumes Resolve to infuse a weapon with Curse. The available item listing does not give a numerical Resolve cost, and the reviewed sources do not establish Curse’s damage, duration, buildup, resistance interactions, or whether the effect ends after a set number of strikes.

#1 Best Overall
- THEIR FLESH IS YOUR WEAPON: The corpses of exceptional warriors are scattered throughout Mortal Shell 2’s destroyed world. Once discovered, each warrior can be possessed, awakening their innate strengths and mastered abilities. Evolve your own style of combat by harnessing the unique abilities of each warrior and unlock their secrets through the discovery of lost memories.
- CLEANSE A RAVAGED WORLD: Mortal Shell 2’s compact open world connects over winding footpaths guarded by desperate and fanatical adversaries. Players who wander are rewarded with new warriors to possess, additional story elements, powerful and strange weaponry, upgrades, curiosities and more. Step through derelict temples of ancient deities, across forbidden forests and icy graves, into citadels carved out of bone. Scattered between these lost landmarks are more than 60 dungeons, each providing a challenging test of the talents and weaponry you have collected on your journey.
- DETHRONE FALSE GODS: You control the Harbinger, a being that must reclaim the Undermether’s stolen eggs that are now ruthlessly guarded by grotesque, dangerous creatures. Mortal Shell 2’s combat system is agile and expressive. Stamina gauges are removed, and execution options have been enhanced, delivering a kinetic and chaotic dark power fantasy. Precision meets intensity in high-stakes combat.
- The Iconoclast
- Veteran’s Battle Axe
That listing does not support treating Curseblood Stone as compatible with every melee weapon. Check the item’s compatibility and Resolve requirement in-game before committing resources.
How to decide whether to use it
Consider Curseblood Stone when you want a Curse infusion and are using one of the listed weapons. Tarstones can provide passive effects, weapon effects, or weapon-specific attacks, and some are limited to particular weapons or sidearms. A broader Tarstone guide says Tarstones can be upgraded twice to increase their effects, but the reviewed sources do not verify an upgrade-specific benefit for Curseblood Stone.

The Gate of Infinity Beacon route, book prerequisite, Gloombound Wraith reward, and weapon compatibility come from third-party guides or databases, not official game documentation. Those records did not identify a specific game patch or build. If a major update changes the Beacon or Tarstones, the route and compatibility may need to be checked again.
