It pairs alternating row shading with checkmarks and per-row toggles. Colorlib says it uses Bootstrap and adapts to different screen sizes, but the listing does not identify a Bootstrap version or establish that the controls save settings or enforce permissions.
What CSS Table V17 includes
Colorlib describes the design as “a minimal, clean and flexible free light table template.” Its September 28, 2026 roundup positions V17 for permission and settings tables, where a row can have a selection mark and its own toggle. The alternating gray and light rows help distinguish entries in a compact list. Colorlib’s V17 listing and its table-template roundup describe the visual concept.

That makes V17 a possible starting point for a settings screen or admin interface—not a complete permissions system. The available descriptions do not say that toggles persist a choice, communicate with a server, or control access to protected features.
Is CSS Table V17 responsive, and which Bootstrap versions does it support?
Colorlib says the template uses Bootstrap and is responsive across screen sizes. The V17 listing does not state which Bootstrap version it uses. The September 2026 roundup says the broader Colorlib table collection can be used on its own or in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects; that collection-level description is not a V17-specific compatibility guarantee. Check the downloaded files and dependencies against the framework version in your project before integrating it.

Can you use CSS Table V17 commercially?
The V17 listing labels the template “CC BY 3.0.” Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 roundup says its tables are free for personal and commercial projects when the credit link is retained. Check the terms included with the specific download before changing or removing attribution; the available descriptions do not establish where that link appears in the archive.
How to evaluate and adapt the template
- Open the preview and download. Use the preview and download links on Colorlib’s V17 page to inspect the exact version you intend to use.
- Inspect the markup and dependencies. Confirm the files, Bootstrap version, and any additional scripts or styles in the download; the listing does not specify the exact versions or file contents.
- Check the interaction in your project. Test that each toggle and checkmark responds as intended, and connect the interface to your application’s own state-handling and authorization logic where needed.
- Test on narrow screens and with a keyboard. Verify the table’s real mobile layout, keyboard operation, and accessible names in your target environment. The listing’s responsiveness statement does not establish those details.
- Preserve the required credit. Review the included license terms and retain attribution as required for the use you choose.
When another table style may fit better
Choose by the job the table must do, not just by its colors. V17 is positioned for row-level settings and permissions. Colorlib lists V16 as a dark alternative and V18 as a dark table with multi-select, but those descriptions alone do not prove either is a drop-in replacement for a particular project. Consider whether users need individual on/off controls, bulk selection, a dark or light appearance, and a usable layout for wide data before choosing a variant.

Colorlib’s V17 page displays “March 9, 2021” near the title and separately labels the template “Released: 2025.” The listing does not explain the discrepancy, so neither label establishes a single verified original release date. The 2026 date belongs to Colorlib’s roundup context, not evidence that V17 first launched in 2026.
