A slow Lamborghini Revuelto run in CSR Racing 2 is usually caused by a mismatched benchmark, incomplete build, unsuitable final drive, or a shift/NOS sequence that no longer fits the tune. Identify your star variant and build first, then use a documented tune as a checkpoint and re-map your launch, shifts, and NOS timing with controlled runs.
The fastest published references are not guarantees. They are recorded community results from particular cars, upgrades, game versions, and conditions.

Start by identifying the car you are actually tuning
Do not begin by copying a shift pattern from a screenshot. The Revuelto exists in five-purple-star and five-gold-star forms, and published references separate them. Upgrade level, fusion parts, Elite status, PP, EVO, race distance, and game version all affect the time you can reasonably expect.

A CSR2 Mods listing updated October 1, 2026 reports a best elapsed time (ET) of 6.829 seconds and a dyno prediction of 7.044 seconds for a five-purple-star Revuelto. A related community breakdown lists NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, tires 0/100, PP 713, and EVO 2420. The exact shift details for that listing are not verified, so treat it as a benchmark rather than a complete shift guide.

Five-gold-star benchmark
The corresponding five-gold-star listing reports a 6.870-second best ET against a 7.093-second dyno. The maxed-car reference specifies NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, tires 0/100, PP 713, and EVO 2396. The guide was refreshed August 24, 2026, while the category listing was refreshed October 1, 2026. Confirm every value on your own in-game tuning screen after updates.
Older maxed-car reference
An AllClash guide published in 2023 reports a different fully maxed setup: NOS 188 bhp for 4 seconds, final drive 2.00, tires 0/100, and a 7.017-second run. Its suggested sequence is a perfect start, a skip into third gear, NOS in third, then good shifts through fourth, fifth, and sixth. This is useful as a test candidate, not as proof of the current fastest pattern.
| Configuration | Published reference | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Five purple stars | Best ET 6.829 s; dyno 7.044 s; NOS 188/4.0; final drive 2.26; tires 0/100; PP 713; EVO 2420 | Recent purple-star comparison point; shift details are not verified. |
| Five gold stars | Best ET 6.870 s; dyno 7.093 s; NOS 188/4.0; final drive 2.26; tires 0/100; PP 713; EVO 2396 | Starting checkpoint for a matching, maxed gold-star build. |
| Older guide configuration | 7.017 s maxed; NOS 188 bhp/4 sec; final drive 2.00; tires 0/100; skip to third and NOS in third | Historical comparison; do not merge it with newer records. |
These figures are recorded references from third-party guides and tune databases, not independently reproduced guarantees. A car with a different star color, missing fusion, PP/EVO value, or race format is not a fair head-to-head comparison.

Many “slow tune” problems are actually configuration mismatches. Use this checklist before touching final drive or shift timing.
- Star variant: confirm whether the car has five gold stars or five purple stars.
- Upgrade stages: check that the engine, turbo, intake, body, tires, transmission, and nitrous stages match the reference you are using. A Stage 5 car cannot be expected to equal a fully maxed Stage 6 result.
- Fusion parts: count installed fusions and verify that the relevant parts are fitted. Missing fusions alter PP, EVO, acceleration, and shift behavior.
- Elite status: note whether the car is Elite and whether the reference assumes an Elite upgrade.
- PP and EVO: record both numbers exactly. The gold-star reference is PP 713/EVO 2396; the cited purple-star breakdown is PP 713/EVO 2420.
- Race format: compare the same distance and event type. A tune that carries speed well on a longer strip may sacrifice the launch needed for a shorter event.
- Game state: note the date or version associated with the guide. Tune values can move after balancing or other game updates.
Write these details down beside your current settings. If even one material item differs, label the comparison as approximate rather than treating the published ET as a target your car must immediately match.

Record your current settings and establish a baseline
Before experimenting, make one clean baseline. Open the Revuelto’s tuning screen, record the NOS, final drive, and tire values, then run several attempts without changing anything. Save the displayed dyno ET, your actual ET, launch result, shift sequence, and whether the car spun or bogged.
- Choose the exact race distance you are trying to improve.
- Use the same fuel, event rules, and car configuration for every baseline attempt.
- Run at least several launches so one mistake does not become your “average.”
- Write down the best and typical ET separately. A single unusually quick run is not the same as a repeatable pace.
- Change only one setting or execution variable in the next test block.
The published gold-star checkpoint of NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, and tires 0/100 is a sensible comparison starting point for a matching maxed build. It is not an instruction to use those numbers on every Revuelto. The in-game dyno and displayed tune values take priority if an update has changed the car.
Understand dyno ET versus actual ET
The dyno is a comparison tool, not a promise. The cited five-purple-star reference shows a 7.044-second dyno and a 6.829-second recorded run. The cited five-gold-star reference shows a 7.093-second dyno and a 6.870-second run. Those gaps demonstrate that a well-executed launch, NOS activation, and shift sequence can beat the displayed prediction.
Do not diagnose a car as defective solely because your ET is slower than a dyno, and do not assume a dyno change proves that a tune is faster in practice. Use the dyno to compare controlled changes, then judge the setting by repeatable race results under the same conditions.
Tune final drive for the actual race distance
Final drive is the main adjustment when you need to balance launch acceleration against speed at the end of the strip. A numerically shorter setup can make the car accelerate harder initially, but it reaches each shift sooner and may run out of useful revs earlier. A longer setup can carry speed farther, but it may feel lazy off the line.

When to test a shorter setup
If the Revuelto leaves slowly and the first part of the race is weak, test a small move toward a shorter final drive. Watch whether the launch improves without forcing an extra shift before the finish. Do not make a large change and then attribute every difference to NOS timing; the shift points have moved as well.
When to test a longer setup
If the car launches acceptably but reaches the top of a gear too early, or you need an additional shift that costs time near the finish, test a small move toward a longer final drive. A longer setting can preserve speed on a longer race, but may reduce the initial punch needed for a short sprint.
Use one-variable testing
- Keep NOS and tires fixed.
- Change final drive by a small increment.
- Run the same race distance several times.
- Record launch quality, the gear in which NOS was used, every shift result, and ET.
- Keep the change only if the typical ET improves, not merely the single best attempt.
The 2.26 value in the 2026 gold- and purple-star references and the older guide’s 2.00 value should be treated as evidence of different builds, versions, or testing goals. Do not combine the older 2.00 setting with a newer record and call the result one verified setup.
Re-map the shift pattern after every meaningful tune change
A final-drive change moves the point at which the car reaches useful revs. That means a shift sequence that worked yesterday can become early, late, or badly spaced after tuning. Listen and watch rather than relying on a fixed script.
Test launch behavior first
Practice the opening without NOS. A clean launch should produce immediate acceleration without excessive wheelspin or a dead-feeling start. If the car spins, slightly alter launch timing or test the tire setting while holding every other value constant. If it bogs, test a cleaner launch input before changing several tune values.

Find the useful shift window
On each gear change, observe whether the next gear pulls strongly. A shift that lands below the engine’s useful range causes a bog; one made too late can waste revs. Move the shift point a small amount at a time and record the result. Re-map every gear that changes after a final-drive adjustment.
Test NOS timing independently
Hold the tune and shift points steady while testing NOS in different candidate gears. The older AllClash pattern uses NOS in third after skipping into that gear. That sequence is a concrete experiment, not a universal rule. If NOS in third produces a stronger run on your matching build, retain it; if the car loses momentum, test the next useful gear and compare repeatable ETs.
Use the older pattern as a controlled candidate
Run the historical sequence exactly once as a baseline candidate: perfect start, skip into third, activate NOS in third, then make good shifts through fourth, fifth, and sixth. Compare it with a conventional sequence using the same tune. Because the guide is from 2023 and reports a 7.017-second run with final drive 2.00, it should not be presented as the current fastest pattern for the 2026 references.
Diagnose the most common slow-run symptoms
Slow from the launch
- Check for wheelspin and inconsistent launch timing.
- Confirm that tire settings and fusion parts match the reference.
- Test a small final-drive change, then re-map the first shift.
- Do not judge NOS timing until the launch is repeatable.
Strong launch, weak middle section
- Watch for a shift that drops the car into a low-power range.
- Test an earlier or later shift by a small amount.
- Compare NOS in the candidate gear used by your build; do not assume third is correct.
- Check whether a recent final-drive change shortened the useful window.
Good middle, slow finish
- Determine whether the car is reaching the limiter before the finish.
- Test a slightly longer final drive for the event distance.
- Check whether an unnecessary late shift is costing speed.
- Compare actual ETs, not just the dyno number.
Large variation between attempts
- Standardize launch timing and NOS activation.
- Use the same race distance and event conditions.
- Run a block of attempts before changing a setting.
- Separate execution mistakes from tune effects in your notes.
Dyno improves but race time does not
The change may have shifted the useful gears or made the launch harder to execute. Re-map the entire sequence after the change and keep the setting only if repeated runs improve. A better dyno is not sufficient evidence by itself.

| Comparison item | Question to answer |
|---|---|
| Variant | Is the car five gold stars or five purple stars? |
| Publication date | Was the setup recorded before or after the current update? |
| Build | Are upgrade stages, fusions, Elite status, PP, and EVO identical? |
| NOS | Does “188” specify the same unit and 4.0-second duration? |
| Final drive | Are the 2.26 and 2.00 values being compared for the same build and distance? |
| Tires | Is the setting 0/100 in both references? |
| Distance | Was the ET recorded on the same race format? |
| Result type | Is the number a dyno prediction, a best run, or a typical repeatable time? |
| Execution | Does the guide specify launch, NOS gear, and shift timing? |
A record lacking matching build context is not a fair head-to-head benchmark. This is why the newer 6.829- and 6.870-second references should not be silently blended with the older 7.017-second guide.
A repeatable troubleshooting routine
- Identify the variant. Record gold or purple stars, upgrade stages, fusions, Elite status, PP, EVO, and race distance.
- Capture the baseline. Save the current tune, dyno ET, several actual ETs, and the present launch and shift sequence.
- Match a reference. For a matching maxed gold-star build, begin comparison with NOS 188/4.0, final drive 2.26, and tires 0/100. For purple star, note the cited EVO 2420 rather than assuming the gold-star value applies.
- Stabilize execution. Practice the launch and shifts until the results are reasonably consistent.
- Test final drive. Make one small change suited to the race distance and repeat the same run block.
- Re-map shifts. Find where each gear pulls after the change.
- Test NOS timing. Compare candidate gears, including the older third-gear pattern, without changing the tune simultaneously.
- Keep evidence. Retain the setting that improves repeated ETs, not the one that produces one exceptional run.
What a realistic target looks like
The current published references place the five-purple-star Revuelto at 6.829 seconds best ET versus 7.044 seconds dyno, and the five-gold-star car at 6.870 seconds versus 7.093 seconds dyno. Those numbers describe particular community runs. They do not establish a universal time for every account, device, update, or execution level.
If your car is several tenths slower, first verify the build and race distance. If those match, isolate launch, shift, and NOS execution before making aggressive tune changes. A slower but repeatable run is more useful for diagnosis than a one-off attempt that cannot be reproduced.
Purchases are not a tuning fix
The official CSR2 site identifies the game as available on iOS and Android and notes that store offers and pricing vary by region. That context does not show that buying an item improves elapsed time. The Revuelto fixes in this guide are in-game configuration and execution steps; no physical guide, controller, phone accessory, or model purchase is established as necessary to solve a slow run.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Revuelto slower than its dyno time?
A dyno is a comparison prediction, not a guaranteed result. The cited 2026 references themselves show recorded runs faster than their dynos. Check build matching, launch consistency, shift timing, and NOS activation before judging the car.
Should I use final drive 2.26 or 2.00?
Use the value that matches your variant, build, update, and race distance. The 2026 references list 2.26, while the 2023 guide lists 2.00 with a different reported ET. They are not one guaranteed combined setup.
Is skipping to third and using NOS there the fastest pattern?
It is a documented 2023 test pattern, not a universal current record. Test it against other sequences on your exact build and keep it only if repeated runs improve.
Recommended Free Tools
Why did my shift pattern stop working after tuning?
A final-drive or other tune change moves the useful shift points. Re-map each gear after a meaningful change instead of copying the old timing.
