The Crimson Desert Team said it needed additional development time “to deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience.” The notice gives no more specific technical reason for the delay.
Where will the DLC be available?
Pearl Abyss lists PlayStation Store, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store for the rollout. The developer’s availability notice says the DLC will not launch on the Mac App Store and will not be available in certain markets. It does not identify every affected market in the notice, so check the current announcement and your own store listing rather than assuming availability.

How to fix missing Crimson Desert DLC after release
- Check the release date and local time. Compare your time zone with the schedule above, and check Pearl Abyss’s current release announcement for any further changes. Before October 29, 2026, the revised launch date has not arrived.
- Confirm storefront and regional eligibility. Make sure you are checking the store for the platform you use. Mac App Store is excluded at launch, and some markets are excluded; availability may differ by region.
- Check the account and transaction. Confirm that the purchase appears in the correct platform account and purchase history. If the store shows a completed DLC purchase but the game does not grant access, Pearl Abyss’s reviewed materials do not give a universal entitlement-repair procedure. Contact the relevant storefront’s support about the account or transaction.
- Update the game and check official help. Pearl Abyss recommends checking its Known Issues notice and FAQ and installing the latest game version.
- On PC, verify the installed files.
- Steam: Open Library, right-click Crimson Desert, select Properties, open Installed Files, then select Verify integrity of game files.
- Epic Games Launcher: Open Library, select the three-dot menu beside the game, choose Manage, then Verify.
- Escalate a persistent technical problem. Use Pearl Abyss’s support guidance for error reporting and recovery. Back up save data before attempting a clean reinstall; the support page provides save-location and reinstall information. Reinstalling is not an appropriate first step for a DLC that has not launched or is not offered in your market.
What if my preorder or DLC is unavailable in my region?
Pearl Abyss says that after reviewing content and age-rating requirements, some markets will not receive the DLC. Preorders in affected regions will close; refunds may be automatic or may require a request through the platform’s normal process. Check the current Pearl Abyss notice and your storefront for the status and refund process that apply to your region.
