What jobs the manufacturer lists
CRAFTSMAN names automotive repair, general construction, and DIY repairs as potential uses. The assortment covers a range of common hand-tool needs, but the manufacturer’s use cases do not establish that it contains every tool or specialty size required for a particular repair. Check the contents against the work you plan to do.

Is the Amazon price still nearly 40% off?
Not confirmed. SlashGear reported on October 5, 2026 that the set was available through CRAFTSMAN’s Amazon storefront for $199. Autoblog had reported $199 against a stated $319 price on September 6, 2026—approximately 38% off. Those dated reports establish that the promotion was covered, not that the same price remains available now. Autoblog’s deal report contains the stated comparison.
